lol...so whats ur saying is, b/c he hasnt got an SS, the more stick on part i.e hood scoop, the closer he is to an SS....im only J/K.....to customize and be satisfied is truely what counts...my fault for attacking u....but keep it in mind....True Ram Air....hahalatta bro <{POST_SNAPBACK}> no harm no foul, i expected to get mixed reviews. not everyone likes the same things, if that were the case there would be nothing but honda's on the road (god forbid). also i have the volant intake which i'm currently working on the lower ram air attachment...

just to be honest i got it for $50 bucks.. but i'am picky about my truck and passed on a lot of scoops that had what looked like a flat lip around the base those look cheasy, where this doe's not. i'll take a closer picture tomorow morning and post it.. also they don't make a steel cowl hood for my truck yet and they just came out withe fiberglass ram air hoods for it (not a big fan of fiberglass) and they look good but i ain't rich and for $800 bucks with the ram air setup (not including paint) i could do a lot more to it for that. besides i have the volant setup anyway.

need part# for the pacesetter headers for a 2wd?
2006_superado posted a topic in Bolt On Performance
hello everyone, i'm finaly going to order some headers.. but i don't want to order the wrong one's?. whats the part number that everyone use's on there trucks?.. if you have them on your truck please let me know what part number you ordered and remember my truck is 2wd if that matters?.. also do the cats have to be moved or will they connect in front of the cats?.. thanks for any help in advance. -
i'm sorry to hear that as well.. his shows were cool. but from my point of view, as a father he had a responsibility to be there for his children and to raise them. lets see if those kids 10 years from now will say "at least he lived his life to the fullest" ??? they don't give a shit if he had "brass balls" or not.. there fatherless now because he had a death wish.. or whatever term you care to use?.. i have 2 small children and it made me a much more cautious person knowing that i'm responsible for there well being. taking risk like that on a daily basis (even putting his child in danger) is not a very sane or responsible decision in anyway. IMO if you want to risk your life thats fine, as long as your single and not responsible for anyone else's.

Whats Your Choice of LT Headers Poll
2006_superado replied to CaliChevyV8's topic in Bolt On Performance
i did'nt know they were that much more expensive, thats i was always planning on the pacesetters for my self because i thought they were a couple hundred less... and from those pics up at the top i would'nt want to deal with that weird bend either plus i could do a hell of a lot to my truck for another $800 my list includes drop spindles $232 from summit, addco sway bars front and back ebay $265, wait4me tune $158, 160 t-stat $30 ebay, for a total of $685 leaving me $115 to spend on something else for the truck???. so i'm just explaining how much more you can get for that much money.. it makes no sense to get uncoated dynatechs, when the pacesetters are so much cheaper coated.. if the dynatechs made 3 times the power of pacesetters i would understand.. or maybe everyone else has more money to blow then i do but even if i had more i would still get the pacesetters IMO. i have'nt bought the pacesetters yet so i have no experiance with any of these brands, but i have'nt heard anyone complain about them on the forums?.. so i don't think the dynatechs could be that much better to justify an $800 increase in price... BTW i want to order the pacesetters, anyone have the part number for a 2wd V-max? thanks. -
You'll be fine, Don't forget the law is actually on your side when it comes to aftermarket parts. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i can't forget what i don't know! but seriously i have no idea about any law's on the matter i thought dealerships would use any exscuse not to repair a vehicle what doe's the law state about aftermarket parts i'd appreciate the info, never know when it would come in handy. thanks in advance

The pace setters are the same for the 4.8/5.3/6.0. The only difference is they have a y pipe for the 4.8/5.3 to bolt up to the stock exhaust, I dont think they have one for the 6.0 yet. The ebay site is were i got mine and wass completely happy with the service and they came in quicker than they said they would <{POST_SNAPBACK}> so can i get them cheaper without the Y-pipe?... is that even an option? maybe i'll call pacesetter and find out
