  1. That's what I use. I just wipe some on before I go to the track and wash it off when I get home. Goo Gone will work though if it is already stuck on the truck. cool tip... but i have a Q, doe's it have to be pam, i'm assuming any cooking spray will work?. also my truck is white, so i'm assuming it won't hurt the paint, but what about dark colors?. tia guys
  2. that sucks.. but like you said "could have been worse" and it was cool of him to send you one for free
  3. they come with a 3-year warranty, did they replace it for him?. other then the bearing problem how did it perform?. thanks.
  4. as mentioned above, they were both run on a downhill street, so that would make the difference imo.
  5. nice run for your current mods.. i'm hoping i'll be around the same
  6. they looked like escalade gauges to me...
  7. best i can tell with a stopwatch is about 4.5 on the ram, and about 4.7 on the SSS. i did it a few times each, and that was the average. i could be wrong or off somehow?, if someone has a more accurate way to figure it out, please do so. i have to say there both awesome trucks
  8. talk about putting the "spark" back into the relationship!
  9. as much as i like the obs silverado over the sierra, is as much as like the nbs sierra over the silverado... good choice, realy nice truck!
  10. i have to agree with chase, i lost exactly 3 tenths before just switching the tires on my old mercury from 235/75/15 (29" od) to a 225/50/15 (24" od) that was a 17.5% decrease in od... so it affectively turned my 3.50 gears into roughly 4.10's. and i done this on the same day, so no variences in weather or anything else. also the rims were the same size, so weight difference couldn't have been much?. you will gain more going from 20"-22"? to a 16" i would say a 245/50/16 should give you about 15%-20% reduction in od from stock, and that should do the trick... jeg's has bfg's or nitto's drag radial's in these size's. good luck
  11. i watched and replayed each clip a lot, and from what i can tell it looked like the ram hit 60 first.. maybe only a few tenth's. as much as i tried i could'nt see it as even. watch the timer, seems like 0-60 in 5 for the SSS and mid 4's for the ram. when i charge my phone i'll time them each....
  12. i'd like a decal as well. i practicaly live on here (the wife will attest to that) so i might as well represent thanks for the chance.
  13. there are 2665 of me. 99.75% of david's are male, so there are more then 1 girl named david
  14. honestly i liked the maxx SS, but i always liked wagons when i was younger i had a 66 impala wagon with a factory 396/th400 and 12bolt-posi all original. and when you remember that in 1972 you could get a chevelle ss wagon, it would fit right in. this has come up a million times before, and i can run down a list if you would like. but the SS stands for super sport not super fast, many of the original ss's were nowhere near a "muscle car" and were just the sportier version of it's particular modle line. Different stokes for different folks I guess. Looks like a chick car to me. mazda miata, bmw Z3, vw bug.. those are chick cars to me. when i was a kid we had a 73 mercury colony park (my bro was born in 75 me in 80) and it was "HUGE" had a 460 in it. i always liked it (had a one my self). i guess theres something cool about having a fast car that no one would ever think is fast, at least to me anyway. but like you said to each there own.
  15. so you race'em yet i'm getting a bit anxious for the results?... GO!
  16. get a g-tech pro ss, it will give you all that info.
  17. damn dude that sounds good. i'm glad the vho/vmax will be included it will add some variety to the competition. now that i'll be trying to compete, i'm going to have to get off my a$$ and get my mod's complete, fix my sig, and hopefully kill a few lightnings and srt's (one can dream right).

  19. the idea sounds great but i do have one question, are all the vho/Vmax guys going to be included in this?.
  20. sounds realy good i think i can hear it bark when you drop it into 1st if so thats cool mine only does that when i'm near LA i live in lancaster and elevation is like 3000ft robs a lot of power
  21. that seems realy fishy... tehnicaly there allowed to do it if they have a valid reason. i would contact the bidder and ask what was the specific reason for canceling the auction (it states there was an error in the listing) while at the same time contacting e-bay an asking them to investigate the auction. there is a cut off point as to when you can no longer end the auction. at the very least you'll get an explanation as to why they ended it, and if some type of proof of wrong doing on there part comes up you may be able to hold them to the sale... but i would'nt hold my breath on the last scenario.
  22. thats a good one to ... i would never think a state would let these go. don't the ask you to explain the meaning i know cali does.
  23. lmao thats a good one... i'm suprised the state let that pass?
