so trying to get one for performance purposes would'nt be a good idea?.. could'nt switch to a heavier clutch (centerforce or similar) or switch the shifter to something like a b&m or hurst?.. for some occasional track use?... i probably won't do it anyway but it was always a thought in the back of my head lol.

i think i'll have to wait until the lease is up on my impala.. so i'll be looking at them in sept 2010. with 292hp even the v6 sounds like it would be a fun car.. i had a 96 bird with 200hp 3.8 and a 5 spd, and it was fun to drive, imo. yeah i had the t-tops on the bird and a older camaro i had back in the day and i always loved them.

hey zippy, i've driven one of those 2500hd 5spd's and it was a little weird at first but fun.. i was always curious as to how much power and abuse they can handle?.. and also if there would be any performance or mileage gains with the 5spd?.

i'm totaly aware of that mike, it was just a joke thats why i put the J/K (just kidding). i hope i did'nt offen stitches?.. or you in someway?.

i would guess there about 34-37lbs based on what i can tell from my web search?... afa a trade goes, i'm really looking to sell them cause i need the cash right now.. how is the tread on your tires and what brand are they?. maybe if i feel i could sell yours faster then mine i'd be interested, but i need some more details.

hey stitches, i thought cops were supposed to bust up the party, not start it!... lol. j/k and mike, the plate looks sweet man definetley goe's with you and your theme i aint no proffesional fisherman either but i've gone at least once or twice a year, nothing serious though, usualy just off the dock or shore.. once i went deep sea fishing and got sick and spewed right on the deck! i was lucky enough that no one was there when i puked so i gathered my composure and walked to the other side of the boat and did'nt tell no one.. but in my defense we went to dennys before we got on the boat and the water was rough, we were going up and down like 3-5'
