ASP pulley install??? torque spec
12'SROCK replied to BLOWN SS/T's topic in Engine Tech And Modification
You need a 3 jaw puller. I have always zapped them on with the impact and had zero issues with countless crank pulleys that I have removed/installed. -
Shipped them out today via USPS priority 2-3 day mail with insurance. Hope you like them! Sent everyone their tracking numbers.
-
Thanks Man.

Curious why you care about low end when you have a 3600 stall converter? You blow past your "low end tq" so to speak with the looser converter......
-
Ok guys you got it!
-
Do a couple of WOT runs and log the runs. Then you could go over the tune to see where exactly you need to tune week the tune.
-
You got it!

Also on a side note getting some prices together for the carbon fiber SS badges. Would be making the SS badges bases and getting the carbon fiber water jet cut to fit perfectly on them. Stay tuned!
-
All done! Will be shipping them out this week. Just have to pack them. If you would like a TTS Performance decal (The Truck Shop Performance) please let me know and I will ship it with the bow tie (red or silver). Thanks!

Thanks guys. Yeah the price dont bother me on the products especially if they give me the results I want. My truck stays in the garage anyways so it remains clean lol -

The pictures do not do justice to how shiny the truck really is!!! -
So I finally ordered Adams Polishes detail products to pamper my SS. Let me start off by saying I was amazed at the results!!!

Maintaining 0* pinion angle yields the most power to the wheels. The traction bars are what keep your pinion angle whatever it is set to with the bars loaded. My truck lifts up in the rear when I take off (thus planting the rear tires). I have the bars set to the lowest holes on both ends and the bars I loaded them by hand until they touched the leaf.
-
With the assassin bars and a zero pinion angle, it wont change from there, which is what you want since you get the most lbs of tq. Also did you feel theor do you feel the ass end of the truck lift up?
-
When I talked to the guys at smith craft racing they told be to barely put any load on none and to set them on the lowest hole setting. Not bad for your first test runs. I found that 15 psi cold for the et streets was the sweet spot for me the last time I ran my truck.

Just getting your parts powder coated this week and she is all yours...
