  1. I used raw 4" aluminum pipe with a couple elbow couplers so the intake would look nice and have a straighter shot into the tb.
  2. Also running the nitro 420 on 3/4 drop and I love them!
  3. I put mine bolted to the coolant bleeder down by the head to keep it out of the way.
  4. Sorry guys. Forgot all about this thread. Lol. They are still for sale!
  5. Once I get the parts I will be installing them that same weekend. Stay tuned....
  6. There is not anything to brake in bro. So just go about your normal business. Run whatever oil you normally run.
  7. Everyone thinks because they can do glass work that they can automatically do CF.... I have seen time and time again parts that are vacuum bagged and look like shit and not to mention they turn yellow and are flimsy. The bow ties you posted are overlays. The one for the truck is an actual part not just and overlay. All the cf parts made are wet layups. The radiator covers are 3 layers of glass with cf on top of it to make it sturdy and all the parts can flex with cracking them (radiator cover and fuse cover).
  8. Got 3 people who paid. Still waiting on 2 more. Thanks!
  9. Yes that is correct. Once you get them let me know and i will pm you my number so I could help you should you have any questions
  10. You have to trim the leaf spring, yes.... The kit doesn't come with any type of leaf clamps. I drilled out and reused the clamp and welded it back to the leaf so it looks stock. The rear piece just bolts right up to the u bolts. You remove the nuts (deep socket 21mm) then the old u bolt plate and put the new one on.
  11. Ok I finished up the install of the bars today. They have between 1/8-1/4 turns of preload until I go to the track ad see where the best settings are. Ended up reusing the oem leaf clamps.
  12. No issues with my swaybar and the traction bars.
  13. On factory hangers no modification are needed to the actual hanger itself. So being a flip kit retains stock hangers you are good and not cutting is needed. How ever trimming the leaf spring is required regardless. Also I dont not have my overload spring installed and if I I'm not mistaken it also interfere with the bars should you choose to change the angle of the bars. Yes I have a djm c-notch installed in my truck
  14. Don't get it twisted. Lol. Gearing alters your maximum given speed. Generally speaking going to higher gears would make you slower but also depends on the application as a turbo vehicle would benefit from the load.
  15. Bolted up the axle plates today. I am going to have to notch the djm drop hangers to clear the spring perch arm of the assassin bar system. Will be also trimming the leaf spring to clear the bracket to hold the pivot arm in place so it sits flat on the leaf.
  16. Hit that many times with my 4.10s I'm rwd though
  17. Yeah. The assassin bars are way more adjustable than caltracs. They also do not require to remove the leaf springs or pressout the bushing.
  18. Box weighed 25lbs and no they do not have an option for powder coating just zinc plated.
  19. Got them straight from smith craft racing. $365 shipped! Yeah I really like how they look and the craftsman ship on them is sick!
