I have a K&N intake that had the original filter on it...i just bought a RC-5139 for it and the new filter is about twice the size of the one that came with it...will this make my truck run lean? i will post pics with the difference showing to help out

I am going to install my Transgo HD2-C shift kit on Friday morning with servo's. I done some searching on here but there was not many tips for the "do it yourself" guy. I was just wanting some input before I start, any tips or anything to make it go smoother. I have looked at the directions and I think I can do it, so any tips?

ya he asked if i knew anyone who could sand blast the wheels if they had the factory powdercoat on...i guess i will have to keep looking

I called a local powdercoating shop and he asked if my wheels were polished or not...i have the gray 20's not the chrome 20's...and i also told him that...he said that he needed to know if the gray 20's were powdercoated or not....cause if there were then they didnt have the stuff to take the powdercoat off...if they werent then it would be like 200 to coat them and the 100 to put a high gloss finish on them....so my question is are they powdercoated from the factory or not?

sounds good the reason is that my cousin wants to race after he puts all of the mods in...he has a powerstroke and knowing him it isnt stock...so i was wanting everything to get here so it all can go it at once and i might not lose to bad

i used this "search" button that everyone always talks about and i came across a long post by Mr.P.....as i read on i came to this "(4) Add a billet 4th gear servo - installing an aftermarket billet 4th gear servo will greatly improve upshifting into top gear; when shifting into 4th at WOT this servo will grab 4th about as hard as the OEM tranny grabs 2nd. This is a very welcome improvement for N/A trucks, and totally necessary if you are making FI power in top gear." not saying that he does not know what he is talking about but i thought everyone said just go with the vette servo and not the 4th gear servo??

well ya we are..lol...thats why the title is "Couple ?'s"...i dont know...i am getting a little money from tax returns...i am doing the FLT shift kit, etc....then i have a little money left...i was either going cutouts or headers...i was figuring what would be better/cheaper....since i am on a limited budget...i just ask the questions that others dont want to i think......

are they worth the work? do they really add much?

i dont think i will keep the cats...is that a good idea? so just buy long tube headers and that would be it?

how much is a little? like buy an x pipe? or just regular pipe?
