  1. I dont know how brand loyal you are, but from what i can recall when Chevrolet did do racing stripes, they never did the roof. that was a furd and dodge thing. Its your truck and all, and some ppl do it, just food for thought
  2. I belive cats are mandated to be warrantyed by federal law for somthing like 80 thousand miles or somthing. I think its somthing close to that. you should be able to get it replaced under warranty* federal mandate*, specailly if your truck is stock. Dealer should replace it with no out of pocket cost to you
  3. Call them up and find out, they are in Anaheim
  4. I have the SS specific Bassani's on my truck. great fit and finish. I did notice more mid and upper end pull, but havent had it on the dyno to have it verified yet. Only thing that has been done was after the install Justin (Black Bear Performance) added some more timing.
  5. The Thrust ssc did 763. I guess that wasnt good enough for them.
  6. http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-106-adams-great-white-drying-towel.aspx this is an awsome cloth. I dry my whole truck and only have to wring it out once
  7. Thats just frickin sad I feel bad for that poor truck
  8. glad to see your still slugging it out my friend.
  9. Like wise. Changed my gear oil to 75-90 RP @ 500 miles, then serviced it again at 30k. At the 30 service everything looks nice and new inside.
  10. all the ebc pads i have seen used have always dusted like crazy. red stuff and green stuff alike. If it bothers you that much change your pads to anyther brand like Hawk
  11. I wonder what kinda new law and taxes the prez is going pass using this as the excuse... its a real shame this happend. As if we dont dump enough crap in the water..
  12. They actaully send me an email saying they payed it back. weird.
  13. Are those the Led tails Hella makes?
  14. Its rare that I let anyone else was the SS. Its just therapy for me to do it myself. The few times I have, I always tip the guys a good chunk. Its a crappy job to do that stuff all day so i figure they earned it. specially when they bust a$$ to dry a black truck before it gets spotted
  15. do a fused relay system that gets power straight from that battery. our trucks can do some strange things power wise and that isnt always good for the ballast. if you get it straight from the batt your good to go.
  16. I could have sworn ford used that on the mustang, but playing on the outside lol
  17. true story, I used to do the stun gun bit to myself when i was bored. yeah. Im a sick fella. 400,000 volts. most i ever managed was 4 seconds.
  18. you cant go wrong with the Rikensport HID kits. Great kits and the 6000k color is a super crisp white.
  19. I agree, try stylintrucks / ebay and not to be a ball buster, but ram air and cowl induction are to diffrent things. Cowl induction hoods are used to take advantage of the higher preasure air in front of the windsheid and channel it down into the carb (back in the day) ram air, as the name would lead, uses openings at the from the the hood to force air into the motor. granted, most people seldom try to make these functions work these days and jsut do it for the looks now dont even get me started on pos fords wearing cowl hoods.....
  20. I guess he didnt get the memo. Your not supposed to jump trailer queens lmao
  21. I wish we had E85 here. The 91 crud here is junk. Your lucky if its even 89-90 octane
