Well, after 6 years of not having to deal with the california smog test the time finally came. I was nervous if my truck was even going to pass. Granted my mods are minor but still, that damn sniffer test in cali ya never know. So last week I sea foamed the intake, cleaned the MAF and throttle body and air filter just for good measure. The tech had a bit of a hard time with my custome shift points. under lite throttle she wont shift gears until 3k rpm. you guys should have seen the look on his face when she went into second and almost jumped off the rollers. lmao. All was good and was passed, and Im a happy camper. not to sure how to judge the readings on the print out but they look really low. I guess a good tune and proper maint pays off. So todays minor heart attack was avoided.

I actually havent had them that long. Considering the manufacturer, I would be a little ticked if they burned out a few led's.

Damn, those are nice. Wish they made on for the SSS. Just noticed the intake tubes are ceramic coated, nice. Guess I wasnt crazy for having my intake tube on the GMPP intake jethot coated after all lol

So it was a cool night tonight, 59 degrees and a slight breeze when I pulled into the parkinoy at waly world. Just before I pulled in to the parking lot my efans kicked on, so when I parked I thought I would kill some time fore going in to the store and see how long it took for them to kick off. I waited a bit over 5 minutes for them to kick off and the didnt. Ac wasnt on, and it was a cool night. I figured they would shut down fairly fast, but they kept going. Does this sound odd or am I worrying about nothing? I just had the water pump replaced and coolant changed so I dought the problem is there. Thoughts anyone?

It is generally accepted that the safest method to service the trans in our trucks is just doing a fluid exchange and filter change. Its not work the risk running the cleaner through the trans, specially with that many miles. Be safe rather than sorry bro

How good are the DDM bulbs? Ive only delt with xenon depot and rikensport bulbs and both work great. Id go with xenon depot bubls again if they had them in 6000k. out of the two that brand seemed the best. Less fuzzy in the pattern if that makes any sence

I recenely had one of my Rikensport 6000k bulbs outgas on me. I love that magnesium white look of the 6000k and would like to find a a source of a good quality set. ideas? Thanks

fight it. Posted speed limit is posted speed limit. He cant cite you for your exhaust anyway, and he knows it. All he can do is send you to a station and have it tested with a db meter. Cant exceed 95 db I belive and 3/4s throttle.

34 now.... Got mine from the dealer in 06 for my birthday new. I had the deal search high and low for one until the found her for me. Paid her off a year early this past July

odd, I can barely hear anything inside the cab. It all sounds like its coming out the back with no resonance inside the cab or anthing. Granted, I do have the factory cats on my truck. Even my tuner made the comment that my truck sounded like it had the touring exhaust on it

How is the quality of these bulbs? I just ordered some since the price was right, just wondering what to expect for quality and lifespan
