i would say go with the street scence ss one. i think its like $180, it is urathane. im going with that one on my truck, the only nice picture i have of it is on chevyman23 truck here it is( i love his truck, i have a folder of every picture he posted, lol)

i would fight it, i fought it with a rokkie cop at my school. it was wet out one day and i was turing and got a little sideways spinning the tires(not on purpose) and in a matter or seconds i had the blue behind me. he said i was trying to "drift". i said "in this thing" then i went on saying how the back end is so light and blah blah. he let me off with not even a warning he just said "o.k no problem have a nice day". and it wasnt the normall cop we have, that guy is awsome we've been freinds for a while. he doesnt care what i do becaus ehe loves my truck!!!!! so FIGHT IT!!!

what did you do diffrently, i have seen some but they hang so low.

a guy next to my old shop were i work does dyno tunes, but he doesnt have a chevy program, he said he could buy it then do it for my truck. his website is cd performance . edit-im still undecided but i think a mail tune will be cheaper since his price is like 60 and hour plus he would have to buy the chevy adapters and all

well since i cant post about mail order tunes in pcm help ill ask over here. im looking into a tune because i hear that they make they truck like new. but i need some help what am i looking into? what is good to go with. i was thinking about a wait4me. heard some good things about them, and they seem preety cheap. well a little background on the truck, for right now i am looking for a tune for a cai, and exhaust. dont have many performance mods in mind but think that this will do for know. when i order it was do i ask for? i hear about TM(torque manag) what is that? also like what shift time, rev lim stuff like that, sorry about the long post but have some extra cash that is begging to be spent!!!!!!

wow it defintly looks good, do you have any more pics of it, and what kind of paint did you do, this is definlty a rainy day mod for me.

sound very nice, btw is that a diff cover, like ones that go dont need to break the seal on (the cheaper kind) or one were you have to drain everything out first, because it looks awsome.

i think powdercoating them black would be nice. i have seen a few picture of black rims and they look nice. once i get everything done to my truck i think i will get mine done! and about the car paint it comes off fine, i rember this summer doing it to the work van here with my freind, we painted a huge male "object" on it and we told the boss that it got vandalised. he almost started to cry, but he got a laugh out of it and so did we, just washs off clean with soap.

has anyone tried finding a lojack? the main thing we are drilled on when gettin trained is to hide it, we make that thing look factory so noone knows its there. granted a pro theif could probably find it but they would have to know were they go, they are difrent in every car, some trunk, some behind seat, under seat dash behind radios. the list goes on. all i know is to spend time finding a lojack while stealing a car is very unlikely because theres alot of panel removing to get to it. but w.e all a alarm and lojack does is keep the "honest people out". if they want to get in and take it they will!

ya i know what you saying about not getting your car back, but if your police dept. isnt lazy they could actully catch them driving it. and i dont have any lojack card, but the guy i work with does!lol
