I thought the same thing when I had my rcsb...then I sold my built SS and bought another rcsb cause I missed mine...There is something about the "short/wides" that looks sooooo sexy... -truck looks really good,imo its the way GM should have built them......

Forgot to mention I will probably do a 75 wet shot to obtain the low 13 second goal...with some dr's..I am thinking the 78mm plate system,I see them alot used as guys go to 90mm or 102mm, I will be there to take there outdated stuff,as long as I can go fast

I just want a mid to low 13 sec truck thats reliable...and stay on a $2500 budget...what about the Patriot 5.3 heads? Yeah they are nice ..but waaay too expensive...I have too many other hobbys...

Whats up guys...Well as some of you may know I sold the SS ...I felt I went too far and it wasnt fun to drive if I wasn't racing...Ideally I would have done the Radix with a 3.2 pulley,Dynatechs with cats, Corsa touring,FLT lvl 5 and just drove and enjoyed it...a very cool 20 y/o kid in Texas bought it..And I cried the day I shipped it out... Anyways I bought a 01 GMC rcsb 4.8 and am getting ready to put a 5.3 in and add a few goodies,as soon as I start I will create a build thread...here it is below , all opinions welcome, keep in mind this will be my dd and goal is to be a low 13 sec truck while still being reliable..check it out -5.3 short block 20k mi -PRC stg 2.5 5.3 heads 59cc chambers -Thunder Racing TR220/551 112 cam -Stanless Works lts with catted y 2.5"(from packjh) -Corsa Sport -K&N CAI -ngk tr55 -taylor wires with 60* boots -Jantzer ported TB -Shift kit / servos /tbtc -G80 with 3.73 or 3.90 -and of course street tuned via efi live -EGR delete on the d/l in the CA Let me know what you guys think and if that cam is too big for the stall...I was alo considering the Vinci "trucker cam" which is less duration and lift...sorry for the long post...its been awhile and my wife offers no help;)

Wrong...M-1 global has a "CONTRACT" with Fedor , It's not his promotion ...just like the UFC offered him and he now has with Strikeforce...When both of those Contacts are up..he will fight in the UFC...and the size comment...Rodger's 265 and Brock's 265 are waaaaay different...Lesnar is just as fast as ANY top 185lber....even most welterweights and is waaaay stronger than most HW's...I dont like Lesnar just styating some facts for the "casual" mma fans... -also the UFC hw division is the deepest it has EVER been Bid Nog, Mir, Carwin, Velasquez,Dos Santos,Gonzaga,Rothwell,Crocop, and that new kid Duffe is HUGE...cant talk about it anymore

Big Nog,Tim Sylvia, Andrei arlovski...are "nobodys" all three have held belts in ufc or pride and are very dominant fighters..not to mention rodgers impressive 10 fight win streak including Arlovski in under 1/2 a minute...I agree he needs to be in the UFC but I also think its good for some fighters to "hold out" a bit so Dana doesn't get to cocky...I personally think hes too small to fight brock...they need to have a new HW div 205-245 and then super HW of 245-285 (so some heavier guys can come over) just my .02

I wish I would have done that...I took my truck too far (more than in my sig) and ended up losing alot of streetability ..Ideally I would have done a maggie,dynatechs with cats and a corsa touring...call it a day and enjoy the truck...I always want that extra bit of hp -congratulations and I hope you go another 100k miles

It usually has somthing to do with the throttle body/tac module...but you never know...use a obd2 scanner tommorrow and write the dtc down then erase it and see if it goes away, then google you dtc or post it up here or pt.net...hope this helps

Thanks for all the kind words guys...Hope it goes to a Good new owner -We are looking at condos in Lahaina right on Honapiialani (sp?) and some more near napili bay. Mayby i,ll end up in the jungle in Hana..ha ha....It's most likely going to be on the West side..I love Kihei -The screws on the taillight screws are only 1/2" long on mine...I switched them out with thicker 3/4" ones...
