You cannot feel any sort of lip on the rotors with your nail..VERY good condition! -These were on my 04 SSS for 7 months , I ended up getting a super good deal on a set of 6S fronts/alumasport rears..these have been in the garage ever since.. I will also include the GM pads I had on but they have a few chips from moving around in the box..but will work fine though.Shipping is $45 per box to the lower 48 as they are heavy.. Stay FAAR away from re-grinds ...they cut a stock cam on a smaller base circle, and then instruct you to use longer pushrods..not good for valvetrain geometry......buy a normal cam

Comp 212/218 low lift..or they make a 208/212 528/532 112lsa or close to that..Any of the Smaller Comp XFI cams should pass CA smog with cats and good tuning...Stay under 218 duration and .540 lift. -You could always get a hold of PatrickG on LS1tech and have him custom spec you a cam for your needs

Before my SSS I had a 99 gmc 4.8 rcsb that I built a 388 ci iron block for and it passed with a 208/210 512/514 114 lsa custom baby cam, I was running a stock intake at the time of smog as well as dynatechs with cats and stock heat sheilds rigged on the lt,s....10.8 cr and a good tune can do wonders...I think I git it up to 200 degrees right before I went... -So to answer your question...Yes I think with good cats and the right tune its def possible...

Yeah you got greedy..lol..You will lose some down low but theres always room to grow,You need some back pressure and velocity..just like cylinder heads 225cc will lose power on some motors 205cc keeps the air moving fast and increases velocity...great for "street driving"...thats why porting or opening up certain parts of the motor is no bueno...you should be ok...just save up for a 408 with a tvs 2300 on top and they will be just right!
