A tune should be your first Mod, then Headers/Cat back. CIA is only good if you change the inake requirements of the engine, ie. heads/cam/exhaust.

My uncle just bougth a left over '06 GT. When he breaks it in, I plan on running him heads up. I will post the outcome sometime in the future. I honestly don't think that a 5000 pound truck that has basic mods like mine could beat a 3000 pound car with 300hp, we will see. Maybe in a few years when I add a Vortech supercharger I will smoke him for sure.
You will loose even if he sucks at driving.

Most 06 stock GTs are running 13.8 and slower at the track and trapping at 101-102mph on stock wheels. Better have your boots laced up if you are going to run them and win.

I beat a SS at the track. I ran a 13.567 and he ran a 13.22...I tree'd his ass with a .019 to his .423. Not normal for me. My usual is around .25

So what is it. Mine rattles too. Is it a on-star mic,a/c sensor, or a speaker. I dont think its a on-star mic cause my truck doesn't have on-star and it has the mic. I sure GM wouldn't put the mic in if it was equiped with on-star.
So if anybody knows for sure please tell us. Thanks
The onstar mics have a directional slotted cover and the sensors have the round holes........I think

I go through Santa Rosa every year on my way to Farmington, NM and Cortez, CO. I always stop at Blake's Lotta Burger. I lived in Farmington for 10 years or so, brother is still there.

its that little sensor above you head in the headliner, it looks like a little tweeter. Its for the A/C automatic temp. They rattle sometimes, just need to replace it.

The mount works great, you screw the nut out until the suction cup is at it's most concave position, stick it to the windshield and then draw it back down with the nut. can't really pull it off without moving the nut. Clean windshield helps.
I'm still stock with just a (moderate towing, 87/93) Wester's Tune.

what does everyone think of windsheild stickers. i was thinking about getting on that said "chevy ss" or something to that affect. anyone have pictures of diffrent options. just want something simple with chevy in it. please post pics~~~KYle
