I can see a TBSS a mile away. With the SSS I have to look real hard. The TBSS is a much better performance vehicle, but hard to haul a refrigerator in. I do have a truck too.

That wax they show in the beginning, costing 6000 pounds ... that's $11,581 !!!
Oh ... and he charges almost $10,000 to do the job ...
He is a bullshit artist to the rich. Proves those people have more money than sense.
"16 pounds for microfiber towels"
I guess they don't have Walmart or Pep Boys.

About 4 months ago I was rolling up to a stop light and I see in the other lane a Titan with his list of kills on his tailgate. I thought, ok lets see what he has. I threw him a rev and he was allover it. He even jumped the light, but I blew right by him and left him in the dust. I figured he was a 15 sec. truck. I had a tune only and had run a 13.7 best back then.
Today, I am coming out of town headed towards the house and I see this Titan pull up next to me. Same guy. His friend in the passenger side motions for me to roll the window down. He claims he has beaten every TBSS he ran against and wants to prove it to his friend. I just point down the road and say "on green". I don't think he had any mods since the last time we ran cause I really killed him. I slowed and he came up beside me and I asked him if he broke.
He said I must have sprayed him or I was boosted.
We were going about 45 and he floored it trying to run off from me, I just blew by him again before 65 and waved bye bye as I pulled away. I ran it up to about 140 just to prove my point.
I don't think he will forget this time.
Oh yeah,
Disclaimer
This race was done on a closed corse with professional drivers.

It is very addictive. I ran in a bracket race at my local track last weekend and won. I got $70 and a trophy. Last round I was against an S-10 running 7.40. I dialed a 9.11 and ran dead 9.11 with a 1.35 reaction time. I also ran against a bone stock Trailblazer SS 2wd before the racing began. I got him out of the hole and beat him to the end but he ran a faster time. I ran a 9.07, he ran a 8.99. I know he was about 2,000 lbs lighter but dang, he was stock.
Sounds like you had fun.
The TBSS curb weight on a 2wd shows to be 4450 dry. (no fuel/oil)
Mine came in at 4775 with my fat ass and 1/4 fuel.
8.99 in the 1/4 is about right for stock.
I ran 8.72 my first time with tune only.

Damn 4.46

You need the SS stickers then clear coat over them.

I have a Wester's tune also.

These assholes are stealing credit card numbers at hotels, and restaurants, as well as the internet. They need to put thieves to death. There is no lower form of life than a thief.

Oh yeah, and that motor just punched out to 370". I think that would make it around a 6.0 or so. There's another guy with a 392" motor that still needs to run, he may see 11's..
did hemiroid get his running yet?
Johnny, Joey, That you? Brad's truck was running good. Looks like you were there till damn near sundown. (80*
) Head wind really sucked too. Nice meeting you guys! Hope to see you back to RRR again. Folks, I could hear the torque management and rev limiter kill his timing at 3/4 track. They will get it worked out though.

Of a 13.4 run against a Galant.
Looks like I left him a bit. This guy is a good kid and can solve any of your puter problem. He left his shoes, spare, and a few other items in the parking lot to get to 14.7. Congrats Tech Greek (his name is Eric too).

A standard 2000 Silverado is electronically regulated to 98mph due to the factory tires having a speed rating of 95-100 mph. It does not matter how much tail wind or whatever. The ignition shuts down. With the speed limiter removed, my 2001 has run 139mph on a loooooonnnngggg straight.

Jeez, I don't see any small blocks in top fuel drag racing. Someone show me where you can get a small block that will run with the ZZ572/720 for this cheap and a 12,000 milw warranty.
There is no replacement for displacement.

Are you saying there is nothing when you hit the key? Did you try to move the shift lever around, or try it in neutral instead of park?
Did you leave the key in the on position when you jumped the solenoid?
Fusable link?
Neutral safety switch?

Goo Gone.

I don't know about the SSS, but the speedo on my TBSS is barely reaching 80 at the end of the 1/4 when I am trapping 100-102mph. I don't think using the speedo is very accurate. JMHO

Power to weight ration........
Yep, only weighs 4885 with me and 1/8th fuel.
