Its BS is what it is. sorry to hear about your truck. i have never had anything taken from the SS. but about a month ago somebody broke into my DD and took everything my ipod, radio, radar detector they even took my nitrous activation pills for my RPM switch. they tried to take my nitrous bottle but they couldnt get the steal braded line unscrewed. but they got it out of the brackets. it wasnt the fact that the stuff they took was real spendy it was the fact that it was mine.

I bought a kit off ebay. it wasnt one of those really cheap sets (65$) i ended up paying 180 for mine. i think somebody on here said art was no longer sell the kits. i was going to buy on of his kits if he was.

Yeah there isnt many trucks that can play in the rain. my ss i awd and with the boost im runing now its hard to hook. but on the other hand if its raining out and a 2wd try to race me and if i were to win i would take it as a win. I raced a srt-10 one night and i took him for a 100 bucks and he said he wanted a rerace cause he was spinning all over the place. AWD FTW. i took him by 5 trucks.

It sucks and im sure its not going to get any better. We cant do anything to are vehicles without the law bothering you about it. i myself have been lucky about tint, my lighting choose, exhaust ect. but i have a few buddy that have been hassled about mods they do. but the officer usally give them a notice to fix it first before they write a ticket. sorry to here your bad knews. its called a fix it ticket and if you dont fixs it within 30 day they write you a ticket.

IMO i dont think its will look just like him. but he seems heavy and tall.

Thats not to bad. i have had my truck for 2 1/2 years now and it just rolled to 51K. ive only put 6k miles on it and i think thats alot. it sucks cause i just put a new motor and tranny in it this last summer. less than 1500 mile on the drive trane

if it were my truck i was putting the bottle to. i would not put no more than a 125 hp wet shotto it. and that would be with a very good tune. I would not buy a dry kit wet is the way to go. you would also want to run colder plugs with a good tune. IMO

im pretty sure theres not much you can do at all about the problem you r having not much will stay in the vac line that goes to the WG.

thats things sweet. today in the newspaper i was reading the info they had on it.thats crazy that it has like 556 hp and 551 tq. nice ride. is it a 6 speed auto or a 6 speed manual tranny?

ive seen a few around my town if it was a true roush 427 you would not of had a chance. out of the box they run mid 12s. i just read the info on them they are truley fast but very spendy also. i tried to get a guy in my town to run me with one but he wouldnt bit. it would of been from a dig i think i would of taken him cause he would be spinning all over the place with his stock tires and plus im AWD and i can build 8psi of boost before i ever leave the line.

Its not a storage unit it are garage at the apartments i live in they are all connected. kinda weird but it does the trick for now. until the wife gets out of school and we can buy a house. im only 23 so i cant buy a house right away like i would like.

yeah i always store it for about 6 months out of the year just to keep it out of the snow. Its my toy so i baby the crap out of it. i only put 1500 mile on it last year. when i bought it 2 years ago it had 44K on it and it just turned to 50k i dont drive it much. and i put 2k on it just to get it back to my home town after i bought it.

Like ive said before im a chevy fan all the way hints why im on the forum and i drive a SSS. I like lightning also not something i would go out and buy but they are cool. I wish chevy would have put boost on the SS from the factory they would be crazy fast. But one thing i really like about my SS is that its boosted and AWD not much can touch it frim a dig. just last year i took a viper truck for about 5 trucks it wasnt even a race. but the next night i got my a$$ hand to me by a modded 03 cobra. My point is that we all shouldnt get mad over little things like who truck is faster. cause no matter what there is always something faster.

I have a honda crx as a dd and on the bottle alls it runs is a 13.8 at 99mph. but my buddy slaped a honda car together this summer just to drag. its a crx with a h22a thats bottle fed and it runs 12.4s all day long up here at 3800 feet. Ill drive anything as long as it has a gas motor.

yeah they r 10000K. im going to get 10000k fogs next. i liked the 6000k but everybody around here has them i wanted to do something different.

Not putting down your lightning but my buddys boosted honda civic worked one the other night from a 30 roll. he took it by 2 cars and the only thing my buddys car has done is a turbo with 6 psi. stock lightning dont move that good unless they have bolt ons. I tried to run one in the ss when i was runing 7psi and he wouldnt do it. Im not a frod fan but i think lightning look sick. your truck look clean

Ive never heard of a WG freezing up. i dont really see how it could in a matter of seconds after you fire up your truck the WG should be hot even if it was -40. the only way id see it freezing up would be when you shut it off and it cools down?
