What a waste of a car. if you wanted somethong fast why not put an LS2 on a shifter cart?

Nice kill. That sucks you had to do it. I dont really like messing around to much on the streets also way to much stuff can go wrong. And im not talking about hurting the truck. Its just all the risks that go along with driving fast.

I cant remember how i got started on car. it just happened Nobody in my family cared about cars. i have always wanted a nice car so my first car i bought was a 82 camaro it had a 4 banger in it so i pulled that the 4 banger out.And put a really built 350 in it and it. An it was all over after that. I bought the SSS 2 years ago with the turbo already on it. I bought it off ebay and took a chance without ever driving it and its turned out to be a good deal after about 12000$.

Well my DD got broken into too about amonth ago. so i wife got me everything i lost 16g ipod nano, a radar detector, kenwood head unit. chipped ecu and more. And tons of stuff to polish up the sss.

Its cool cause its diff. but not the ideal spot for the A/F. Id try another gauge like you said. cause the A/F is one you want to watch alot.

So i take it you had to cut the factory steel lines? well when i bought my truck somebody had cut the steel lines and replaced it with rubber ones. well i have put up to 4 clamps on mine and it still has blow them off. the only thing that has worked so far is i expanded the steel line where the rubber meets it and so far so good. in two years ive blowin the lines off 5 times. this year im going steel breaded from tranny to cooler.

well one wire down can make your truck run bad. i ran my truck at the track with good wires. on my next run one burnt though and i went a second slower my next pass so yeah it will make your truck run bad. this was on a boosted motor so you can notice right away if your plugs are bad or a wire is bad.

That thing is sweet. id drive it to get grocerys.

It just really depends on the truck i know mine has the 4l60 ive put 3 trannys in it now. there isnt much of a difference the only thing that i know is different is the 4l65 has a five pinion planetarie and a stronger input shaft.

It snows here all the time in Montana. but its been really cold for the last week are high this weekend was -22 below and negative 40 with the wind chill it sucks. Alot of the cars wont start around here.

SSS have both trannys 4L60s and 4L65s. i just depends on the truck.

I have been wanting to buy a set a tails for the ss. But can not desided want color to go with maybe you guys can help. Whatever tail light i do deside to get will be L.E.D. but what would look best my truck? its arrival blue. I dont like chrome tails for the blue. so should i go with Smoked, Blacked, Red?

nice kill. my wife does the same thing but it dosent stop me. i guess thats why i had like 7 tickets in the first year i had it.

This truck was on ebay 2 months ago for sale buy it now was 14500. it had a bottle hehide each seat?

Get a custom tune. Everybody i know that has bought a handheld tuner was not happy with it. they end up pulling the tune back out and trying to sell the hand held. just spend the extra $ on a custom tune and youll be happy.

Its so sad what they start you out at auto parts stores. Here in MT they start at about 7.50 an hour and Mcdonalds down the street starts you out at 9.00 an hour with benfits its pretty sad.

Your boss's must not be a standared dodge ram. cause a buddy of my was looking at a new one and the exhaust exited the side and it was an 09. but the truck in the showroom had the cut out bumper and the exhaust out of the bumped and the sticker price on that thing was 43,250. alittle to much money for the truck. IMO

Ive heard a ton of good stuff about the guys above, Zippy, blackbear, wheatly. I personally used allen at nelson performance i am pleased with my results. But ive heard nothing but good things about the guys above. just read the tuning threads it sounds like these guy(zippy,blackbear,wheatley) know what they are doing.

hey man welcome to the site. glad to see you drive chevy. I really like the c5 zo6. I think the next chevy i will buy will be the c6 z06. when the wife gets out of school. your rides are all sweet. we will also be looking at a TBSS for her for the family.

Hey man glad you found a nice truck and im also glad its a blue one there is less than 2100 of these trucks made in arrival blue. but if you plan on upgrading anything on this truck the first thing i would be doing if i were you would to put a shift kit in it. a larger tranny cooler and servos. just read in the tranny section and you will understand what i am talking about. this is by far the weakest leak to are trucks. not telling you what to do just trying to help you save a tranny. im on my forth tranny and my truck only has 51k on it.

well what year are you looking for. how many miles. Do you want a truck that has been modded? just some qusetion that other people r going to ask?

those wheels look good. I dont thing they would look good on anyother cooler truck. but they really set your truck off. nice choice.
