The Yank TT series converters do not have a great track record with these trucks. You should look into a Precision Industries(PI Vigilante) or Circle D converter....

I had a stalling issue when my cam first went in a few years ago, particularly in reverse and with the AC on. From what I remember, it was something in the tune that had to be adjusted, the motor wasn't getting enough air(I don't remember what table it was).
Is it a live tune or a mail order tune??

As I understand it from the site Admins, the supporting member function isn't working right now, and hasn't worked in some time. I will try and find out what's going on.....
-
And that wouldn't be that big of a problem except all my pics are hi-res. And the first one I tried to upload was shot down for being over 1Kb. I'll have to resize everything, save them back to my computer, then turn around and upload them to the garage.....that much work kinda takes the wind out of my sails, lol
I guess that lengthy process would require the consumption of a beer or two......I know I would have a one or a few LOL....
X2!!!!
I think we should go back to the old way. Screw the garage. Just post pics to this thread (easily done with photobucket) then let the admins/mods or whoever narrow it down to 3, then we vote in a poll to nominate the winner.
X3
If the majority like that way better, we can switch to it for the March/April contest if you guys want....
-
Looks like the only way is to upload them from your hard drive, flash drive, SD card, etc......
-
It's been some time since I have uploaded to the garage, there may be a way to post a link off Photobucket. It's been a while, I'll check into it....
-
Do i need to pick a different truck then? mods please awnser
If the truck you chose has already won in the past, then yes you need to nominate a different one. Past winners cannot win again. Make sure to post a garage link.

Better late than never Art, PM me your info and we will get it squared away.....

I have locked this thread so that everyone can cool off. The site Administrators are reviewing the events of the past few days. Everybody please calm down and enjoy New Years Day for the time being.....

For the record, Brian was given a vacation, he was not deleted. I have locked this thread so that everyone can cool off, nothing good has come from it. The site Administrators are reviewing the events from the past few days. Everybody please calm down and enjoy New Years Day for the time being......

I can't believe what I just read, all this bickering over nonsense(well, in a way I can). I have an idea! Its New Years Eve, how about you all relax and get along? My finger is hovering over the lock button along with Shaun, its time to play nice in the sandbox gents.

Unlocking it for past winners or is there a list of past winners if not?
There is a list of past winners pinned at the top of this section.

Mark is texting and driving again, he'll explain later. The first few calendars we did here were all TOTM winners. All winners were supposed to get a prize from the admin here, usually a t-shirt. Any of you that haven't gotten your prize need to PM me ASAP so that we can take care of it. We have no idea you didn't get it unless you tell either myself or Mark your prize never game....
-
TOTM fell off mid year due to a complete lack of participation across the board. It didn't make sense to keep having the same 5 trucks nominated each contest, having the same 25 members vote each contest. There are hundreds online here daily, there is no reason why there shouldn't be more people casting a ballot.
That being said, Mark and I did recently mention starting the contest again, but everyone needs to be on board with it, or TOTM will stay in hybernation. Why don't we make this an open discussion? Please tell us your thoughts....
-
Keep it, you'll be sorry if you sell it....

Not good, sounds like a catastrophic failure of the trans to me....
-
The more I think about it, it sounds like that TCI converter may have finally bit the bullet Mark...
-
You should be good with the stock size injectors for now, but a 90mm intake and some more fuel will help. Id say 40lb injectors or 42 46 maybe. For now get the stall and the cam in then when Youre ready get some heads and intake.
Didnt I just mention this above?
Thats right, I did
Had you read the post previous to mine, you would have realized why I repeated it. Think before you post...
I ran my stock injectors with a bigger cam. For now he will be fine with the stock injectors with that cam.
With this particular cam, it is a necessity, stock injectors aren't enough....
-
Stock injectors are not enough for that cam, you will need to upgrade them with the cam swap. A 42# Delphi Multec II type injector would be a good choice....

Welcome to the club, I'm on trans #4.

BUMP!
This thread is back!!!!............
I recently heard this on Octane, can't stop listening to it!
-
Congrats brother, it's the biggest babysitting job in the world. Lots of luck!
-
That is a 3600 stall setup all day. You will be going backwards with a 3k stall speed with those camshaft specs.
Agreed, I'm running a 3400 stall with that cam and I sometimes question whether or not it's enough stall....
