if it only does it on a cold start u may have some restriction or moisture freezing at your orifice tube causing the compressor to reach extra high pressures on the discharge side of the compressor. it may be worth trying to evac and recharge, replacing the orifice tube is not a uncommon repair. i dont get the accumulator replacement thing either.
