  1. Welcome to the site! Very nice truck. Good luck with it.
  2. Hope to get some this weekend. I already have an Undercover tonneau cover on order to secure the back. I'll get the pictures after it is on.
  3. Congratulations, and welcome back!
  4. Right after we sell the OLD ride!
  5. The friendships are permanent. Only my ownership of this vehicle is ending. There will still be installation parties, track days, Applebee lunches, etc. that I will take part in. You can't get rid of me that easy!
  6. Some details... on Saturday I traded in the Corvette on a new Sierra Denali. I just decided that the time was right to "consolidate". So now the SS has to go as well. I hope it doesn't take forever to sell!

  8. Congratulations! My daughter's birthday was 3/3.
  9. Jackie wants to go since she missed LVD. Now hoping to be there!
  10. Happy Birthday everyone! Dan... Have a great day!
  11. I have Baer's, but they would be at the high end of "affordable". There are other options that I'm sure will be posted too. Check the "Suspension / Brake Tech" section of the forum for lots of information as well.
  12. I favor the "Colonial Cream lower and the top in India Ivory". It looks so much more 1950's than the other colors, so I think it keeps the classic look of the car. Other accessories can modernize the car, but I think that color combination really fits the "personality" of the car. Whatever you decide, the '57 is a true classic!
  13. Even though we couldn't race, I think we all had a good time. It was good to see familiar faces, and meet someone new!
  14. I have MSD's on the truck, and Taylor 409's on my Corvette. I have not had trouble with either.
  15. Sorry to hear, Joe. I first slipped a disc in my back when I was about 16, working in a gas station and lifting something incorrectly. It still periodically goes out, and the pain is like being stabbed in the back with an ice pick. I also have the usual lower back pain that people get from being out of shape and having a job where you sit on your a$$ all day. I hope you get some relief soon.
  16. The part number is 32829. I got them at Summitracing.com.
