When I saw these announced, I thought I could hold out until they were in production, but I couldn't do it. I put a deposit yesterday on a 2012 Grand Sport coupe. Withdrawal from selling my 2009 last fall was too much, especially with the mild winter we've had in the Northeast. I'll have it in about 2 weeks. It's being built in the Bowling Green plant next week. Can't wait. But... these 2013 anniversary editions are beautiful!

As many of you know, last fall I not only sold my Silverado SS, but also my 2009 Corvette. My new truck eases the pain of the SS a bit, but within a couple of months, both my wife Jackie and I realized selling the Corvette was a mistake. So... Yesterday, I put a deposit on a 2012 Cyber Gray Grand Sport that Kerbeck in Atlantic City has on order from the Bowling Green plant. It is being built next week. The next couple of weeks are going to be going SLOOOOW! I can't wait for it to be delivered and be back on the road again in a Corvette. They say you don't know what you had until it's gone. Well, I totally understand. I'll post up a few pictures when it comes in. I think the Lebanon Valley Dragway trip this year will be in it too.

I can also vouch for the beauty and craftsmanship of this truck. Whoever buys this truck is getting something very special. Good luck with the sale, Brian.

I'll root for a Chevy; Gordon, Stewart, Junior... I'd be happy with any of those winning.

You have 2 processor speeds listed (2.0GHz, 2.8GHz). Definitely go with the 2.8GHz. What about the display? I went with an HP, with a 17 in. display, also an i7 processor. I'm not much of a gamer. but I like a speedy PC.

When I sold my SS, I bought a Sierra Denali. Great truck, and fast too. Nevertheless, I still miss my SS.

I'm bummed. Can't make it on 4/21. I have been informed we are going to a wedding that day. Damn.

I had the same thing happen. As replacements, I bought Pioneer TS-G4642R 4-Inch X 6-Inch 2-Way 130-Watt Speakers. I bought them at Amazon.com for about $40. Edit: I drilled a couple holes to mount them solidly to the door.

Mark (Rockhead) saw my old SS last week. The new owner added a cowl hood, and is keeping it nice. I'm glad about that.

I come here to read SS related stuff. I go to GM-trucks.com for all the rest of the stuff. It's a good site as well. Edit: If they ever bring out a new body style SS, the forum may HAVE to add a new section for that!
