My SS was "unstoppable", stable and controlled in snow. I had Yokohama Parada Spec-X tires that I used in winter. ANY truck or car will slide on ice, unless maybe you have studded tires.

When will you be here? I'm in the city Tuesday through Thursday every week. We could get together for a beverage after I get out of work. I'd love to meet you face to face! I'm not very up to date on high end spots (I tend to gravitate to pub type places!), but there are plenty of them... in the theater district (mid 40s to mid 50s) on the west side of midtown, Tribeca and Soho downtown, all around the town actually. :-) I'll see if my work friends have any suggestions and let you know.

I had Cherrybomb "Turbo" mufflers on my SS when I first changed the exhaust. They sounded great, and no drone in the cab. You can check them out on their site. They give the dimensions as well. http://www.cherrybomb.com
