  1. Congrats, Brad! BTW, I must have lost track somehow, your truck is all fixed? I saw the taillight post, and it looks great!
  2. Lots of us are. Here's one link for you... https://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/Chevy-Silverado-SS/273131232561 If it doesn't work, search Silverado SS. Here's another for SilveradoSS.com, but it says it's scheduled to be archived, whatever that means... https://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/group.php?gid=203463058291
  3. When you swapped out the water pump, did you flush the radiator real good? Over the years, sometimes sediment collects in the lower half of the radiator, blocking some of the paths, and reduces cooling capacity. Make sure you're getting flow all the way through the radiator. By the way, that looks like a real solid platform for a restore. It will be a beauty. Good luck!
  4. My computer skills are legendary!
  5. This is out of the owners manual... If your vehicle has power door locks, it is equipped with a feature that enables you to program the door locks. Your vehicle left the factory programmed to automatically lock all doors when the vehicle is out of PARK (P), and all doors unlock when the vehicle is in PARK (P). You can set the automatic door lock feature to unlock the doors you select once the vehicle is in PARK (P). The following instructions detail how to program your door locks: To enter the program mode you need to do the following: 1. Beginning with the ignition in LOCK. Pull back on the turn signal/multifunction lever all the way toward you until flash-to-pass is activated, and hold it while you perform the next step. 2. Turn your key to RUN and LOCK twice. Then, with the key in LOCK, release the turn signal/multifunction lever. Once you do this, you will hear the lock mechanism lock and unlock. 3. You are now ready to program the automatic door locks. Select one of the following four programming options and follow the instructions. You will have thirty seconds to complete programming. If you exceed the thirty-second limit, the locks will automatically lock and unlock to indicate you have left the program mode. If this occurs, repeat the procedure beginning with Step 1. You can exit the program mode any time by turning the ignition to RUN (the locks will automatically lock and unlock to indicate you are leaving the program mode.) If the lock/unlock switches are not pressed while in the programming mode, the automatic lock/unlock setting will not be modified. The following is a list of the available programming options: All doors Lock / Only the driver’s door unlocks: Press the lock side of the power door lock switch on the door panel once and then the unlock side once. All doors Lock / All doors unlock: Press the lock side of the power door lock switch on the door panel once, and then the unlock side twice. All doors Lock / None of the doors unlock: Press the lock side of the power door lock switch on the door panel once, and then the unlock side three times. No doors Lock / None of the doors unlock: Press the lock side of the power door lock switch on the door panel twice. This turns off the automatic lock feature. Hope that helps... seems overly complicated.
  6. Welcome! The truck must be like brand new!
  7. Hey, Bill. Welcome back. Robbinsville here...
  8. Nice ride, Tony. Something for me to consider down the road a bit as well. I love that color too...
  9. I let the truck sit in the sun for a while to warm it up, then just used my fingers to push & roll the double sided tape off. Not a real easy or pleasant task, but I eventually got it all off. Really didn't take all that long.
  10. It is very likely that some of my "best" posts were made while at least half asleep!
  11. Just noticed that I passed 4000 posts here. I'm still a minor leaguer when compared to our friend Fireman31, but it's been fun. I've learned a ton, and made a lot of great new friends. Still happy to be here!
  12. I don't play. I have seen my wife become addicted. She plays until her eyes are glazed over.
  13. Very cool! Tell him to be prepared to post pictures too!
  14. Saw it in person at the GM Nationals. Awesome!
  15. Truck looks great. On the silver, the black SS's look great too.
  16. I've been very happy with Bilsteins in my SS. Part numbers are in "My Garage" (link below). I will guess that they are the same part # for an '06 Denali.
  17. I wish I had that kind of patience!
