  1. ah nice! i hear ya. agreed on the wheels needing a tad bit wider to look great for stock height. i think im gonna contact the preds seller and see if i can get some better shots of the "outer rim peeling" ..guess that'll make or break the deal. if not, ill wait 7 months till some new 20's come out :secret:

and btw, just saw your from NJ! google mapped it, your only an hour away. im down next to LBI

The next time we are scheduling a Northeast get together, you'll have to join in! There are usually several over the course of a year. I don't have my SS anymore, but I usually still go, because we have a great bunch of people. Keep an eye out in the Events section of the forum.

  2. While I like the stock SS wheels, they always looked a little too flat for me. That's why wheels like this with a wider lip appealed to me. The first ones that I saw that I liked were the wheels on Krambo's (Kevin) truck (I don't remember the make), They are now on 8hnpSS's (Niko) truck. I don't think they are made anymore. The BBS's I bought were pretty close to that style, and I really liked the look on the truck. I also had 355/50-20 tires mounted on them. Those BBS wheels are an inch wider than stock, and it filled the wheel well nicely without my truck being lowered.

  3. You talking about the bbs ones that are grey, 6 split spoke design with a lip all around kinds like these? I seen an ss on here have them, and a newer Tacoma in town with em

But feedback is so far so good! I definitely love the style of them, but not sure how I feel about all 4 wheels having a lip on street truck. For lifted, ya all 4 are sick, but street it's usually just lip in the back from what I've seen

    sent from your HTC Rezound

Here is my SS when I had the BBS wheels on it. These wheels are on Rockhead's truck now. (I voted "yay"!)

  4. Im pissed about the loss of the AWD and adding the 5.3L option. To me what made the Denali so special was the 6.2L and the AWD. I would much rather get and SLT with the 6.2L, it has most of the options the Denali does without the Denali premium. I dont know if its worth a few grand extra for, real aluminum trim, different wheels, and a big chrome grill.

I didn't see where it's stated that the AWD is going away. That's something I like about mine, and liked about my SS too for that matter. If that is now optional in addition to the 6.2, then I would have to agree with you.

  5. Sorry to hear.

I had a similarly pushed in rear bumper on one side, and I used a small bottle jack and a small piece of wood on the bumper bracket & frame to push it back out. If you go slow, you can get it exact.

Good luck, and better luck in the future.

  6. Oh yeah I forgot about Cam he was a stud, you have a Felix Potvin goalie stick? Aka Felix the cat lol he was good but his dad Dennis Potvin a Defense man for the Isle's he wore #5 back in the day was the man! Isles won 4 cups in a row back then!

I don't think Felix and Denis Potvin were related. Denis was a Norris Trophy winner, and is a Hall of Fame member. Felix... not.

  7. Love it

Where do you get information as far as a complete factory resto regarding what overspray is where, what numbers were written and where, ect. I always wondered about that. Is there a guide showing all this?

Not sure about what's available for Camaros, but there are Corvette Restoration Guides that have all that sort of information. VERY detailed guides, because the NCRS is strict about restoring everything exactly as it came from the factory, or preserving its originality.

  8. On my SS, I originally put on dual Cherrybomb Turbos (true duals), and loved the sound, and had no drone. But they eventually rusted out, and I replaced them with a dual in / dual out Magnaflow. I was unhappy with how much drone that had! Sold the truck with the Magnaflow on it.

My first mod to my Sierra Denali was a Corsa Sport system. Exactly true as stated above; quiet inside, awesome outside. As a matter of fact, I think it's TOO quiet inside. :) It's better in the warm weather with all the windows open. I recommend the Corsa.
