hit up your local salvage yards and look for avalanches, tahoes, yukons, suburbans, or 3/4 ton trucks(the bigger truckds you have to drill a hole for the offset bolt on the booster bracket). youll need the power steering lines, ps pump(just get the whole bracket with the pump its worth the time saved), booster, and the brake pedal

you dont have to take it off but it might make it easier

You can run the t but I would just do the pump for the simplicity of it and the cooler will be fine

agreed or a 7.3 or its 7.3 powerstroke for those years but i wouldnt trade my duramax for my old powerstroke

04 Ss Rear Driveshaft Interchange

The awd rear shaft is longer and the front shaft is shorter than 4wd shafts Bonus info when doing a 4l80e swap and keeping awd you can use a stock 4wd front shaft it is just the right length -

on my stock 20s i ran 9.60s in the 1/8th on motor put my 22s on went 10 flat. bought 4 titan 18s and put 4 drs all around ran 9.flat this all on motor though before the cam and converter

Sorry man I didn't know that they had the option of the 80 from the factory I was just trying to make sure you got the correct information. I just got done swapping an 80 into mine today. So bump so you can get some more info to figure out your tranny issue.

umm first thing i believe the escalade had the 4l6xe in it unless you swapped in the 80e.
