If you don't let him drive it normally, why would you let him drive it that night? THAT is the main reason i say no, if you let him drive it all the time, he wouldnt be as likely to hot rod it, probably because he would have already. you give him it for one night, trying to impress a girl surrounded by a bunch of hs boys raging with testosterone= disaster. We weren't even allowed to drive to my HS prom, which i honestly think was a good idea, you had to either take a limo( which most did) or have your parents drive you.

its awd correct? are you say barking like chirping the tires? or barking like they are grabbing? i know my dads SS and my friends, both AWD, will tend to grab some when the wheel is locked

What i see everytime i stop at the pump, and thats only 3/4 of a tank! Guess this is why most people don't DD a duramax. Luckily, i get paid for mileage so this doesn't really bother me that much, but since i have a govt job, I thank you all for filling my tank

California car cover is the best cover you are going to find. hands down. any cover you put on may put some fine scratches in the truck- but if you have a fresh coat of wax on you would greatly reduce that chance. the biggest thing that hurts trucks covered sitting outside is the wind moving the cover around. my truck is covered in the garage with a california car cover and i have no complaints at all

def look over the car closely. i dont know about the 80s, but earlier vettes were famous for what they call the "birdcage" rotting out. thats a serous repair. also depending on what that car needs- looks to at least new a new interior and im going to guess paint, you are going to have more money into it than its worth plus the 80 vette isnt one of the popular vettes either

well i know on some of the keys that have the fob built in, they can only be programmed at the dealer, but that generally has to do with the car, not the fob correct? plus on these keys, you can take the actual key part out and change it, so i could put my truck key in. just thinkin it would be a cool feature to have on my truck that no one else has

is it possible? I really like the keys for the pontiacs( 05 GTOs i think) that have the keyless entry lock/unlock build into the key. anyway those could be used on an 05 GMC?

my new DD is a 2005 with the single cd/ non bose system. i want to put a new radio in it, and would like to put a 6 disc in the truck? will it work? also ive heard there are 2 6 disc changers, a bose and a non-bose, is this true?

well I haven't driven my SS daily for years, decided to tear my S-10 apart and rebuild it so I was left without a daily driver. picked this up on thursday, 2005 GMC Sierra 3500 with the duramax/allison combo: in the few days I've driven it I can already tell this is going to be a pretty large truck to DD

yeah I would say you will never get that. I bought my truck new and the sh*thead dealer put the wrong address for where to mail the COA. I called and called for 6 months, Finally got a woman that knew what i was talking about and told me they would print me new ones and mail them, well 6 months later come to find out that division of GM went under. That was back in the fall of 2007. I have no COA. the only way i knew what number my truck was is because the lady told me based on my VIN.
