BenKey
Do you have one from your previous truck or something? Did you plan on getting a s-chgr?
blackhawk
I did have one for my previous truck, unfortunately i sold the dang thing. I know a couple people that have them right now that I can probably finagle a deal to get there’s for free and then pay to have it reprogrammed. calisapo
Hey ERICWF, It took a while for Lyndon to get a new PCM in. Once he shipped it, it took about a week.

Lee
Matt, FWIW - I used one on my old '99 SIlverado. Personally, I thought I got hosed. Yeah, it changed the shift points, made them firmer, corrected for my over sized tires etc. but for my money, I did not see $395 dollars worth of difference. mwalls54
lee i have had 3 programers and a eprom chip from hypertech and i havn't have the first problem with them. 00 silverado, 00 zr2 blazer, 00 c5, and a 91 s10 blazer. i have been using hypetech for about 8 years in every vech i own. i was just wondering if any one had used one on the ss yet
rico750sxi
Hypertech not ready for the SS yet and it's going to be a little while. There are other programmers available such as the SPE Proflash, Diablo Predator, and SUperchips. There is also the option of a Westers PCM. whmayhew
mwalls54 I hope that you did not buy 3 seperate Hypertech programmers. Once you have one you can have it updated for $200.00. That is what I am waiting for. Lee, I have seen the Hypertech on sale somewhere for under $
Lee
hypertech and i havn't have the first problem with them. I didn't have any problems with mine either, Matt. I just didn't think it did $400 worth of improvements. I have seen the Hypertech on sale somewhere for under $300 I got mine back in 1999. I haven't checked the prices in four years as I was not happy with what it did for me. They very well could be under $300 now.
