PewterC3 Posted March 11, 2006 Report Share Posted March 11, 2006 The Intimidator SS stickers on the sides and rear, plus the rear wing let other drivers know your truck is special...no reason to drive around advertising for Chevrolet (unless you really like the look) as the stickers on the bed were intended to be just that....advertisement. But I always top mine off. It sits for days, doesnt matter how much I drive it for the day. I will always top it off when it gets to 3/4 full. That way it hurts much less..... Congrats!!!! They had about 8 or so of them on the lot to pick from. Mine is the non-Intimidator SS version. That sticker package looks all too familiar. Mine had all of that on it too. I had them remove them all once the deal was done. Truck is much cleaner without them IMO. I love the HD hood, but it makes parking this thing a mother. Never fails after I've parked, I get out and I'm 10' from whatever I park in front of. Previous three trucks were Dodge Dakotas, so not very good at parking this beast yet. Did you order it from this area? When I bought mine, they were selling them for $11,000 off the sticker (with the Red Tag deal figured in). Mine had 155 miles on it when I picked it up. Found several pictures of our trucks escorting the drivers around the track at Texas. I removed the hood sticker and side bowtie stickers so far. PS- Just say 'no' to the bug deflector IMO <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I got most of the decals off. The only thing left is the "An American Revolution" on the sides of the bed. I removed the big red "bowtie" on the hood and gold "bowties" on the bed sides. I bought the bug guard and already installed it. I love the look of it so it has to stay. Also with the surface area on the front of the HD hood I was concerned with rock chips. It already has one small rock chip with only 700 miles on the truck. I'll get some pics of what it looks like tomorrow. I'm debating leaving the "An american revolution" sticker on the side and adding a red "bow tie" where the gold ones were. I'll have to mess around with my photoshop to see if I want to follow through with it. However I do appreciate everyones input it will help me with making my up my mind.
