marc_w
First tank was 87... put in by some "not well informed" gas pump attendants who's company is in bed with the Chevy dealer... or vise versa. You know the deal. It didn't knock or do anything funny. Since then it's been 93. I'm not brand loyal. It's from whatever station is most convenient. -- A side note - anyone notice some large variances in higher octanes? I seem to get a lousy tank every one out of four. The truck just runs kinda weak and doesn't like to get up and go without some prodding. I'm wondering if the higher octanes aren't as popular around here and they sit around longer than the cheap stuff.

And you are just now putting gas in it for the first time? What you only have 300 miles on your SS, or have you been having someone else put the gas in for you?
