I just bought some 26" giovanna wheels...They are being shipped...

26" already been installed on a SS... TOO BIG in my opinion...Buts its your truck and whatever makes you happy... Post pics when You get them installed...Other wise you will be probally be seeing this In a week or so if no pics are posted...

imo the SS is a sport truck and 26's are opposite of sport. to big and to dam heavy imo. Its your truck do what you want.

I've seen a few SSS with 26s posted before. I think it is way too big. Max I would go is 24s. But with big rims performance goes down exponentially.

the only way it will look good is if you drop it, IMO. And good luck making them work then. With my truck 4'' lower and 24s, i had to do lots tweaken of the fenders to get everything to work. good luck with 26s

good thing you got the 6.0 because with a 4.7/5,3 that would be sllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

With a 4.8L, and driving on 20" SS wheels, my 99 Silverado became as slow as a slug...even with mods.

 

I might upgrade wheels and inch or two, but beyond that it certainly doesn't seem worth the price you pay in performance/braking/etc...

Those things are gonna slow it way down Then after you get going your gonna need like 20'' brakes just to stop. . But i do think it would look badass if all would work out, and the fenders huggin the tires but thats gonna be the hard part
