montanass Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 my neighbors brother is trevor linden... i think he still plays for the canucks my other neighbor is the coach for the Omaha Ak-sar-ben Knights, which is the farm team for the calgary flames. He used to play in the NHL, but was forced to retire after an eye injury. another one of my neighbors is Dean Chenewth (sp) he used to play for the NY Islanders. I grew up knowing these guys and its kinda cool to know professional atheletes. I dont follow the NHl as much as i do the AHL. Go Knights!!!
ChevySSandChevy8.1 Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 Flames are going to dominate your Canucks now that you don't have Ruutu to trip up Phaneuf But I always did like the Canucks, still got a good line up with Naslund, Morisson, Linden, Ohland, Salo and the Sedin sisters. Don't like some of the trades Vancouver made though
