montanass Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 Ok, i know they have the same motor but the Denali is about 380(ish) hp and the Escalade is at 403(ish) hp. What kind of 1/4 mile times do they run? I remember reading somewhere that the Escalade runs low 15's, but i dont remember where i read that info.... I have a buddy, that wants to race me in his wifes 2007 yukon Denali XL. I think i'll work him over but i was just wondering what kind of times they throw down. My mom just bought a 2007 Escalade last week... I havent had much of a chance to drive it without her in it so i dont really know what its capable of.
ChevySSandChevy8.1 Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 Well the 07 escalde runs basically the same times as a stock SS. I've driven one around. They are about 6.8 0-60 and low 15s for the 1/4. So the denali xl should be technically slower, and since it has more mass due to the xl, I would estimate mid to high 15s.
04CHASE Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 ive heard the 07 e lade can runs a 14.9 stock , so it would be a good race for a stock SS.
ChevySSandChevy8.1 Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 denali has 400hp <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nope 380bhp. Detuned 6.2. Just like before with the LQ4 6.0 and the LQ9 6.0.
