TurboChevelle
I have had my SS for about six weeks now and have probably been snooping around this site for about 12 weeks. I want to thank everyone for sharing their experiences with the trucks. This hands on info is priceless. I ended up getting an 04 with 30k miles and it's a Victory Red truck. Blue was my first option, but the trucks were few and far between in the Northwest. The truck is pretty much stock with the minor exception of a bug shield and bed liner, which doesn't look like it ever had anything in it. Like everyone else in the forums has mentioned, the brakes are a very big dissapointment. I am already looking at a couple different brake pads mentioned. The only other real bummer is the intermediate steering shaft started clunking about two weeks ago. It's going to the dealer this Friday to get fixed. I was told they are going to inject grease into the shaft. To me that seems like a half ass fix since it is banging around pretty good. We shall see. Overall the truck is awesome and I can't wait to do a computer upgrade, which at this time will come from Wester's garage. Corey

TurboChevelle
This setup has only made half throtle passes. I never could get the tune right the entire summer. My winter project is to get the FI and intercooler on it. I only need the throtle body. Earlier in the year I had a D1SC Procharger on it and with 10lbs it went 10.72 @ 125.6. That setup was fun until I sheared the snout off the crank. Next year should be fun though
