Stopped for 72 in a 70

A buddy of mine was pulled over somewhere in west Texas doing 72 in a 70. Is this normal for Texas?. The cop asked him where he was going, he told him he was going to Goodfellow AFB ( San Angelo), and lucky for him the Cop was trying to become a Air Force pilot, he let him go.

Also can someone give me the safest way to San Angelo from Vegas? I know I can use map quest but some local insight would definitly help.

Thanks in advance, Matt.

If it was a trooper, he probably needed to keep up with his stats. The troopers here have a stick up their ass. Those bastards pull me over all the time for doing a few miles over the speed limit, even gave me a ticket a few weeks ago.

And, to make matters worse, he has the right to pull him over since he was going over the speed limit. Most of the time they will do it to search vehicles to look for money or drugs. big thing here in Texas.

I am not a big fan of troopers here!
