I don't know, but maybe spinning the 22's a little off the line got you into the powerband (little higher revs off the line) better than the 18's spinning more off the line. The 18's may have spun too much and put you into 2nd too early and resulting in a slight 2nd gear bog. It's hard to say w/o being there first hand.

well i think there is still more to be had with the 18's. the logs show that it started to run really rich . the weird part is that the truck added timing on its own for some reason, in first it was set to run 13 degree and it showed it ran 17, but it only did it in one run and that was the run i pulled the 1.60 60ft.

got this pic today of the 11.9 run , the cool part is a pulled on the little srt-4 from the 1.8th to the 1.4 pretty good, which surprised me because the little boogers have some good top end .
