montanass
Ok, I'm really torn here guys/gals. I just sold my dirtbike for 2k cash, and I was planning on spending the money on a new tonneau for my truck, but then I got to thinking about it, if I saved it, I would be 2k closer to the 5,000(ish) that i would need for a Procharger... I want more go, but i really want a tonneau too... So if you guys can vote and justify your decision, please do so. Thanks
thomp62301
Procharger!!!!!!!!!!!
misterp
It's supposed to be a fast truck!
xistent
Go for the Procharger. The bed will survive being uncovered for awhile longer.
04CHASE
get the big purchase out of the way things will come faster after that i sdone.
BOB47
Split the difference. Get an inexpensive tonneau cover and save the rest for the procharger.
SS--BLOWN
Solve it yourself. Do you go to sleep at night dreaming of a dry truck bed, or of a FAST MF'ing truck? I voted. It wasn't for the bed cover.
r8rs4lf
I say the tonneau cover. As you may know, getting the Procharger will only magnify the already weak tranny we have so in essence, you will not only be getting a Procharger, but you will also need to upgrade your tranny, a tune, etc. I've been down this road before and felt I would be way in over what I thought I would spend from the begining. I would rather put that money into a SBC or something like that. My truck is my daily driver and I don't need things crapping out on me, especially considering my truck is an '04. Who wants to drive a new truck that breaks down all the time? Not to say that will happen, but it needs to be expected.
PladdPezzPunk
speed is king man. but make sure and save some money for tranny mods/rebuild. The covor would look pretty sweet too but only after the truck is fast.
drako
The gaylord is sweet, but going faster is worth it. I just like leaving stuff in my truck and not worrying about it. What I would do is spend the money on a shiftkit and stall. Its a necessary and also a big improvement over stock. Then from there you can decide if you want to have more speed which I think everyone here knows the answer to that
Stitches040
Tonneau Cover keeps the snow out of your bed .... ProCharger puts you into a ditch during the snow .... I would still go with the supercharger ....
06redSSrwd
unless you need the tonneau to shield/protect something from the elements, "go" before "show" my friend. ES
WRO44
I've got both and if I had to choose I would definately go with the Procharger!! Yeah you need to put some $$ aside for when things go to the crapper but wow is the extra juice a TON of fun!
