fox_forma Posted May 1, 2007 Report Share Posted May 1, 2007 the only thing I dont like about 4ts is how loud the exhaust gets when putting on a pipe, I use to have a 500 pred with a full trinity kit and it was way to loud. The loudness is what shuts down half our riding areas. Although the 2t's can get loud, they are nowhere near the db range of hopped up 4t's. And the reply about stuff clogging up the carbs on 2 strokes, thats just silliness, both bike work the same way, you have spark, fuel and air, if you air filter is junk it will pull in debris as well. Plus to rebuild a 4t scares the hell out of me, done it a few times and it always gets way to costly because you most like need to replace the valves, seals and all that other fun stuff in the top end. It is a badass bike you got there, not my personal cup of tea but I wouldnt turn it down. Looks like a good penny was spent on it and at least its done right.
