Bad Bowtie
I found them at "www.tirerack.com" for only $117.00 EACH + UPS shipping (in my case $75.00). They have a "H" speed rating, a 480 tread wear rating, an "A" temperature rating, and an "A" traction rating too!!! It is a 6-ply tire, and it has that extra thick molded rubber "rim guard" made into BOTH sides. One side is a smooth black wall and the other side has the serrated edge blackwall like the stock Goodyears do. The tread design and price is what sold me though.... Here is a link to them: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?ti...yes&place=6 **NOTE** I also noticed UNMOUNTED these larger sized tires weigh in at 51lbs each, the smaller stock Gdyr's are listed as weighing in at 40lbs each. Fat Nick
How do the 305's do as far as rubbing when sharp turning?
jc04ss
Did you read the reviews below?? about the tires blowing out?? might be a concern IMO.
Bad Bowtie
No rubbing at all on my 4x2 VHO.... I did see those 2 reviews, but most people only comment when there is a problem IMO, not when there is a compliment due. I will keep u posted as I acquire some miles on my trucks "new shoes", but so far other than noticing the added weight (approx. 44lbs), these tires really seem sure footed. LOL!! I have yet to see rain here and I'm still waiting to get 100miles on them before I lay into them from a dead stop, if u know what I mean. zippy
That's a rather large tire for a 2WD. The VHO's are already too tall geared, that sure doesn't help.
Bad Bowtie
Not really. It's wider yes, but taller- not really.
