2bseen
Can you run the 18" wheels with spindles if so how much wieght would you save per wheel with low profile tires.
Xero
i can run 22's with my 3/4 drop....so dont worry about what size you can use. as far as weight saved. what im told is the stock 20's are 78 lb's each. so 18's would be considerablly less. Xero
depending on the wheels you buy, either a lot or a little. prolly anywhere from id do 50-100lbs ballparked. but it all depends on the wheels you buya nd the tires.
2bseen
I think with low profile tires and non-chrome wheels I might save 30 or more #s per wheels.
marc_w
I've been considering running 18's full-time, just for the weight savings.
edessa
I've been considering running 18's full-time, just for the weight savings. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't think any 18's would look good on the SSS.
BlackySS13
Yeah, that might look a lil funny.
2bseen
I think with low profile tires you could pick up 2 to 3 tenths, which would get me almost 13s on motor.
StevenSStruck
18 might be to small but will save some weight

marc_w
I hear you guys.... The 18's would have appropriate rubber so I'd still fill the wheel-wells nicely. I'm really not into the appearance thing a whole lot, so I wouldn't really mind 'downgrading' the rims.
