ls2silvy
Decided to make a new thread and get rid of all the junk in the old one.. just gonna keep it short and sweet! when i brought her home with 18k, paid 11,000 for it, 07 classic 4x4 4.8 4l60e: First mods were intake, exhaust, walbro 255 and some long PS tubes... threw on a maggie m90 side mount with supporting mods and ran E85 for a year or so (back when it was dirt cheap and gas was 5 bucks lol), made 320 to the wheels on 5 psi: Went threw three sets of 20" wheels, ran these chrome TTST;s for a while. Picked up Painted mirrors, and grille tips from a 06 Z71.... also switched to a powdercoated billet bowtie, Z71 Tailgate with the step and added some OE fog lights:
ls2silvy
Added gauges, SS cluster and TBSS steering wheel/airbag next: started building a LS2 with ported L92 heads, Vortech V2 kit and a comp TSP 224R cam: Picked up a OE SS front bumper (LS2 going in): Got the LS2 running, added a WTA IC setup: (Made 524 to the wheels on 7 psi running pretty lean, didn't get to finish because it spun a rod bearing on the next dyno pull........... :bang: found out engine was built way too loose by a local engine builder... sold it all and started slowly building my forged 370) Forgot to mention the 4l60e let go before the LS2 did, drove it with no second gear for three months while i saved for the 80e swap... couldn't get the dealer to fix the 4l60e under powertrain warranty lol ( i wonder why ): Picked up these hot pipes and intake setup... never used them and sold them to finish the rear mount i started: Started to build this junkyard LQ9 with 80k, added some off the shelf LS3 heads and a used LS7 cam, was built for my buddies 66 Chevelle but he let me borrow it for a while so i could get my truck back on the road while i was building my forged 370:
ls2silvy
So then i started on the rear mount turbo setup using a TC78 and retaining my ATW setup from my Vortech V2, Ran this setup for a while... ran mid 14's until i got in touch with Shane and Zippy and got a Better tune, we switched over to a 2 bar SD setup and tossed in a Pro Yank 3600 converter which got me to my best time to date of 11.66 at 115 with a 1.6' on 7-8 psi, we most likely could have got high 10's out of this setup but we were having boost control issues with only 2 test and tunes left before the track closed for the season and my 370 was ready to go in so we just tore it down:

AKSSS
Very nicely done so far. Such a pain two do things twice sometimes. But the always come out better the second time. Everything looks good. I like the fuel setup. Did you supply the fuel rails with a Y and then dump both returns off the rails into the regulator? Just curious.
