6.0ss Posted October 5, 2004 Report Share Posted October 5, 2004 I caught this Awesome sun set a couple of nights ago and thought I would share, I want this to be worked into my Sig, but I suck with photo edit stuff, so if some one wants to run with this it would be cool,, also is there a way to make the truck more visable?? dcairns Posted October 5, 2004 Report Share Posted October 5, 2004 Nah, just the shadowed area. There is a tool called "burn/dodge" that lets you darken or lighten in a spray brush kind of way. You just set it at a low setting so it takes several passes to get what you want, and it keeps an "edge" from forming between the lightened area and the rest. I can only brighten things so much before it looks funny. The shadowed areas, and the truck in particular start to show blotches. Next time try taking an extra photo with the flash on. If it works right, (not so close to the flash that the foreground is too bright) it can highlight the truck a bit without changing the sky.
