jmgak47
I actually typed it DC Electrical and then corrected it. They have good reviews, didn't want to spent to much on the alternator. Hoping this is enough.

Akslowroller
Every time I see your alt. Chawkins it make me want to order a different one from DC. I have been thinking about trying Mechman out. The only reason why is I am going to be adding a second alt to my setup. And under 300 for a better alt doesn't seem bad at all. Maybe I missed it but have you already done your big3?

chawkins6789
What do you use for deep cycle
jmgak47
Haven't really decided. I am more of a racer and usually used Optima but I am sure there are better options.
chawkins6789
I run aa single yellow top, but looking into dual yellow or dual with a yellow/blue combo
Akslowroller
The blue tops are the same as the yellow tops just have the additional posts on top. I say do it. But I have to ask why not get a small audio battery. They are much better for a stereo system simply because they discharge faster.
chawkins6789
Yellow is dual cycle and blue is straight deep cycle. My yellow top and past red top had dual posts
jmgak47
That is why I said I am sure there are better options. I am a gear head and drag racer, haven't been into systems since high school lol Edited January 2, 2014 by jmgak47 (see edit history)
Akslowroller
Don't get me wrong optimas are a great battery in my opinion. And they do what they are supposed to even for car audio. I was just wondering if you had looked into it. Check out Kennetic batteries
fast4popper
Kinetic all the way, and use a high grade cable as well. Pure copper. And mechman is a badass alternator
