6.0ss Posted December 14, 2004 Author Report Share Posted December 14, 2004 Adam,, That is a solid list and just about exactly what I have going in my ride right now as far as your speaker selection, And it does work really well, I get my Diamond TDX Dual 4 ohm sub in this week So I will give you a full report, I will be pushing 1100-1400 watts to it so it should do really well!! (I really can't wait, like a kid in a candy store) I am guessing that you are using the s600s in front and the s400s in the back? Something you might not know but the Diamond Crossovers have an output on them for rear fill so you don't need to worry about running a 4 channel amp so you can power the rears!!! It is an awesome feature. Something else to consider, Use that rear fill off of the front crossover and power the speakers that are from the factory, They sound fine as rear fill!!!! Spend money on an Eq or something else that you will have more fun with!!!! I still can't say enough about Alpine head units, They are just some of the best stuff on the market! Panasonic makes some good stuff too but just not as feature packed as the alpine stuff, THe model that you have picked out is about the same as the alpine, 9835, I can't get Panasonic, but I will get a price on the 9835 for you.
