m396 #00-011
Granted thats sic, but I wouldn't give that crook Hennessey a dime, even if he was the last tuner on earth.
CrAzYMoPaRGuY
It's an awesome time, but the SRT-10 is hard to afford dead stock for most working guys, let alone the price of the added turbo mods. I like the SRT10 though, it's nice looking, quick, big brakes, wheels etc... but the guys I know who actually own them say they spin the tires like crazy at any attempt at a hard launch? Have you seen the 10.91 second Chev truck video yet?
SSplaytoy
That needs to be an SS.

steve summers
I was at a GMC/Dodge dealer the other day, they had an SRT-10 quad cab, it actually looked pretty good(for a dodge). The dealer had it on sale for $48,999. For that kind of jack I would have to look at a new vette instead.
56chevywagon
Most everyone here has seen this, but here is a 10.91 @ 122 in a silverado...good ole Parish Parish's 10.91 run
TurbochargedBerserker
It will only cost you $42,000....... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dayum... Jeff, you think an ss would run 10.9 with both our setups in the same truck? You take the front axle, I'll take the back We'll still have enough left over to hit vegas for a week... "last year, we tested a joe gibbs performance silverado, a truck that quantified its performance gains by beating up on the factory engineered chevrolet silverado SS" as i recall they didn't do to much whopping on the SS. it was very close...the tahoe they did ran a [email protected]

That's probably a well driven stock SRT10 with a set of slicks? I've seen 12.7 for a stock regular cab SRT10 with a set of slicks, that was 3 or 4 months ago. CrAzYMoPaRGuY
Got a link? How can they get 650 cubes out of a Viper based engine, and why would it be basically the same 1/4 mile time as a stock SRT10 with slicks? Maybe somebody was jerking your chain, or...? Post a link, I can't find anything.
CrAzYMoPaRGuY
I found a forum where somebody refers to an SRT10 run where the driver "lifts and stabs and lifts and stabs" the throttle, shreds the tires, and has a laughable time. I can't find any other link though? I would think 650 horsepower in a heavy truck should be able to go 11's at least?
