dcairns
Merry Christmas!!! It is commonly thought that Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem by donkey, but this historical photo shows that Joseph had more sense than that, he took the SS. After all, Joseph was a carpenter, so a truck made perfect sense, and on this occasion he was in a hurry, Mary being pregnant and all. Joseph was a bit bummed when he discovered the XM option he had got on his SS would not work for a couple thousand years (awaiting the launching of the XM satellites). But he had the foresight of getting an extended cab, that way Jesus could ride in the cab rather than in the bed of the truck, a very good thing on those bumpy roads around Galilee (when was Caesar going to get them patched up anyway?). hot rod truck
Funny stuff... but without the donkey, do you think Mary still rode Joseph's ass because the ONStar wasn't working... and he wouldn't ask for directions
