Thats the style I have now - will not work with the new hood
-
I wish I could find a used all black one for $250 or less in great shape - id be all over it
-
I sent you a pm. Not sure why they haven't gotten back to you - theyre a good company to deal with. Where did you get the gauge from? I remember you needing one faster than I could get it to you
-
Yes - that's the grille I need...but I'm looking for an all black one if I can find it By HD style I meant the newer style hood...not the 03-04. The hood that they initially put on only the 2500 and up HD trucks.

Holy f'ing how-to...talk about detailed. Might have to do this on the wife's solstice I agree though - breaking out the work light at night is getting old

My wife has a pair of Maui Jims and the quality is TERRIBLE. I always liked their glasses - friend of mine worked at sunglass hut in the mall and always had the new style - I've just never seen a pair of $200+ sunglasses have the lens pop out several times without dropping.... For the style like theirs I would go good ole' Ray Ban

Thanks everyone. I replaced my stockers at about 90k - hehe...needless to say they were totally shot. I've been very happy with the Bilsteins until now. Warranty seems to be very easy - I just have to find my original invoice...then they send me a new one. Will update on the process. I'm driving the wife's solstice until the new shock comes in tomorrow This thing is like a go-cart...

I agree with all buy one.. I'm a saints fan...gotta pull for em
-
Anyone know where I can get one at a good price new?
-
Has anyone dealt with Bilstein on warranty'ing them? If I HAVE to drive on it to work (20 miles) is it going to tear anything up? I just can't wait until the new one gets here on Friday - if its bad to drive on it then I'll just buy a cheap one from Autozone until Friday. I've just never ever had one blow out on me
-
I just went to check my wheel bearing on the driver side front of my truck and the entire lower control arm and shock base is covered in oil. They are Bilsteins and less than 2 years old.... I had just never seen this before Went ahead and ordered another while waiting to see how Bilsteins warranty service will work..

Exactly what I was thinking - drop keys are just re-indexed...you don't need them unless you run out of adjustment...
-
I finally found a hood and now I need a new grille. *To clarify - I need the newer HD style grille I'd like a stock black one if anyone has one laying around. Please pm or email me [email protected] Thanks

Has anyone driven a new f-150? I had one for a rental a while back and I thought it was the biggest piece of crap ever. Not even compared to my SS but just in general - everything just felt like it was thrown together and the truck handled TERRIBLE
-
typical...I would have gotten a new one if that was the initial warranty - mine went out at 79k
-
Do a search - your speedo stepper motor is bad...just like everyone elses is or will be if you're under 70k you're golden...otherwise you can fix it yourself if you can solder or you can just replace it
-
ps - google Jessica Barton....I'm glad I did
-
GMpartsdirect has the pedal for $23.52 btw... hoses on the otherhand are wayyyy overpriced including shipping
-
I think I have the exact same issue - mine squeals like a bad fan belt right when i start it up in the cold - lasts maybe 30 seconds and then goes away.
-
Awesome - thanks man. I kept getting confused over on the other forum by the 400 posts about it
-
So that's is all you need? I have looked at this before over at pt.net - the stock powersteering pump will work? Thanks Looking forward to doing this after it gets over 30 degrees

I thought I'd try to post this in the general section also for more advice/experience... I decided to do a mild 2/2 drop on my truck but right as I decided on tires i was wondering if 305/50/20's will rub with a 2/2 drop? Anyone running this setup or have any experience? Thanks :cheers:cheers.gif
