If you look through the posts on link above, one guy did it on his 05 and it looks pretty good just ahve to get different bulbs and everything is soldered. Kinda looks like a pain to do, he also added some resistors to help his dimmer work im assuming. It does look good though I think I may try it soon, I think it will look really good the blue on the white face plate.

That looks pretty good can we do something like that to our trucks at all ??

Similar situation happened to me cpl yrs back. My buddy was makin us fakes by scratchin the numbers or something like that. Well the tard leaves his wallet at kwik trip and there were like 4 ids in there so we all got called in because the kwik trip lady turned it to the cops. Well nothing happened to us because we didnt alter the Id's which is what the felony is So if you didnt do it and your buddy admits to it just chip in a pay for his ticket if its a misdemeanor. Luckily the kid that was doing that for us got off b/c he was goin to the army in like 2 weeks so nothing happened at all.

So a bad cat will cause a misfire ?? When I changed plugs it looked like the front passenger plug was the one that looked worse than others, the sleeve was black and all the others were normal. I was thinking the worst and maybe lost compression in that cylinder or something

Those Hankooks look sharp are they pricey and are they a good tire heard the name but I have never seen anyone with them on a vehicle around here. Yeah I am planning on doing the same thing you are TZER but its going to be a cpl months before that happens

So I just changed my vent valve solenoid and the engine light went off, now the only time it comes on is when I lay on it and then it blinks. The truck does not snap like it should and I hear a little rattle sometimes when i lay on it. I am throwing off codes P0101, P0300, and P0449. I am thinking the 449 one is bogus cause I just changed that valve and didnt have it reset. The other codes the MAF and the Misfire I changed plugs and cleaned the MAF and it did nothing, Also when I lay on it the transmission like sticks or something it just revs and doesnt shift for awhile or until I get off of it. Any one have any ideas what should be my next plan of attack to take care of this crap. Thanks

Those pulls arent that bad it looked like one of those special tow straps they almost act like a bungee in a way. My buddy just pulled my other truck out this winter with it and he scared the crap outta me when he started pulling like that but it was pretty gentle actually.

Well I think I found the problem one of the tires has a big bulge in it with some wires sticking out so I am assuming those are the belts that blew. Thanks for the help guys

Would I get that bad of a vibration just from a misbalanced tire ? and why so bad at especially 50-55 highway speeds there is very little vibration

Ok so I rotated the tires like 2 months ago and that fixed the vibrations for like a 1500 miles, then vicrations started again. So I just changed my oil yesterday and rotated the tires again to see if it would help, but now at 50 mph it shakes really bad what could this be just a really bad tire or what it shakes a little from 25-45 but really bad at 50-55 then after that nothing at all. The tires are pretty worn and need to be replaced soon but anyone have any ideas ??
