  1. There is really no clearing w/the 408, you jus need to have pistons for the large crank, more specifically piston#8. you do not need to notch the block as with past chevy 350 blocks. Summit racing, has the eagle complete kit for $2200. I believe

    thanks, good info for when my motor needs a rebuild...had to notch the block when doing my 360/408 dodge stroker

  2. mopar stage 3 kits produce 310 hp and 325 ft tq with high octane they do 355 hp 365 tq... factory warranty too almost made me want to buy one, but it still is a neon/rental car

  3. most likely a poor alignment job, i had a firestone dealer do an alignment on my truck and they left one of the tie rod jam nuts loose, another shop aligned my brothers 2500dmax and told him his rear axle was bent!!! this wasn't true at all, the tech was too lazy and did not properly calibrate the rear tire sensors.
