trick performance rpm switch , need help?
Krambo replied to idahoBLKss's topic in Forced Induction and Nitrous
I run the same one, for both stages. Good little piece. -
The HP should be 100% biased to the rear wheels with the front shaft disconnected. There may be a small amount of parasitic loss in the transfer case but negligible IMHO when compared to a 2wd unit. Good luck!

It was moved to the correct section. Many times for a topic that was started in the incorrect section, a moderator will move it without notification. This not intended to be disrespectful however a necessary task for all forums to keep it CNO (clean, neat and orderly).

There are 3 people awaiting a response from the bank regarding a loan. However I am in the process of mapping out the return to stock. I already purchased an LQ9 and 65E...will be here next week. Parts will be available locally first, then I will list on here.

Yep definately need a puller for the pump pulley. The rest is all standard bolts...15mm if I am not mistaken.

Gasemall, your concern has been elevated to the Admin level as I cannot help you. I hope resolution can achieved shortly. I received my first and only PM from you just a day or two ago and could not reply back to you (is your in-box full)? I feel a 48hr turnaround on a question like this is fair. Unfortunately, I cannot fix your issue and will be relying on Admin support going forward. Thank you for your patience. -
What were the RPM shift points for the same? Yes. I typically go a few colums lower than the 100%TPS column to ensure it does though. Another question, were you in "D" or were you in another gear on the selector? Awesome RPMs man. Must have really "sung" at those levels. I am more impressed with the way your 65E ahs been holding up to your thrashing on the dyno and the track. RPMs are very hard on the pump and I think you have tested better than anyone on this board anyway.

Good turnout. But WTF Niko? Good turnout. But WTF Niko?
-
Can you expand on "hard to turn"? Even a stock flex plate will be hard to turn in my opinion.
-
Mark, that will be an option if the truck doesn't sell in a week...too bad you already have a set!
-
O.K. LAST CALL! Give me your best offers. Soon I will be returning it back to stock and selling off all the modifications. No kidding, I received roughly 250 offers - 90% involving some type of trade however none were where I needed them to be.

Good Kill...its fun to open it up once in a while! Be careful though, I have seen V-6 mustangs at the track laying down 11 second passes (modified of course). The new V-6 power plants (all makes) are nothing to sneeze at anymore...

If you are just looking to get inspected, delete the misfire codes in the tune (set to 3-no error detected and check the MIL box) and reflash. You will go "ready" and can get your sticker.

Get rid of both and find a good tuner (person) with the software of their choice (HPT, EFILive etc.)

My beloved SSS burnt to the ground- Fire Destroys my baby!!
Krambo replied to Fourtraxjay's topic in General SS
Terrible man. Toys can be replaced, and I am sure you will find something to fill the void. A fire scares the crap out of me. I commute 150 miles a day and see a couple of car fires a month. Sometimes a fire extinguisher isn't enough...if conditions are right, its going to go up FAST. In hind sight, count your blessings, everyone is safe and sound. -
I run 28" M&H drag radials at the track on 16" aluminum 99-02 wheels.

Beautiful car...free bump. Your got in just before us on that ZL1 sir. My father settled for the Grand Sport Centennial, took it home last week. Looking forward to seeing the ZL1...going to have it in time for the GM Nats?
-
Nice! You will be hooked for a lifetime now I'm sure.

where to get viscous coupler
Krambo replied to 4.8t's topic in AWD, Differential, & Transmission Tech
I am sure the dealer can get you one. -
A true 3200 stall converter will really make that truck jump. I wouldn't be suprised to see a full half second improvement on the 1/4 mile.
