thanks.. im starting to think more and more... ( maybe just hoping ) that its the TC... i have hp tuners so im tryin to figure out a way to scan/log and see if i can notice anything being a bit of a noob with the software im not sure how and what to look for. krambo though i should try and lockup the converter and look for any slip as a tell tall sign... which sounds like a great idea.. just not sure how to do that yet...so im playin around with my scanner tryin to figure it out.... helluva way to learn tho..haha

welll as much as i love this site.. i HATE this section... i dont like reading or postin in here...lmao cause ya know its gotta be soemthing negitive i mean.. anyways.. heres my latest seen if anyones got any ideas.. i my way home last nite i noticed a lil shutter kinda thing in my truck at about 60mph almost like a stumble..between 55 and 60 but it was reallllly suttle so i didnt think much of it.. well today it got much worse not sure because the truck was cold or what..but seems to be around 50ish to 60ish when it shifts in to OD and in low rpms it feels the the truck is shuttering really bad if i put it in neuteral it goes away and if i drop a gear it goes away so it seems to be somthing trans related. im almost wondering if maybe its soemthing to do with the lockup on the converter? other then that the truck runs great and hits all the shifts hard as aways.. so im pretty sure its in the trans but i have NO ideas other then maybe the converter? no check eng lights or anything on yet....anyone got any ideas? or anything i can try to narrow it down before something lets go??

THANKS WHAT I LIKE TO HEAR!!! its time for red to be the king..haha as far as the 9 sec ss... maybe hes talkin about parish old truck thats down in mexico..i saw the new owner changed the look to look like an ss... maybe he shoots up to texas for some fun.. if its that truck.. we all know its able to run 9s with parish behind the wheel.

very cool.. your running pretty close to what i im.. just alil taller..i need to measure mine and see for sure. looks like you have great gains also..i was conserned with the weight, after going to the track and throwin a set of slicks on stock f body wheels on his camaro they felt half the weight my 16s did.. so im curious

alright guys im wanting to see what everyone is running at the track for wheels and tires...and if you know what kinda 60ft times youve got with them... and!! if you know the weight of them would really be intersting. but just put down what ever ya know anyone know what the stock ss wheels weigh in at? just though this might be usefull for everone to see. i know it will help me im run some black steel wheels with some B.S mastercraft tires i think there a 225 65 16 i know i know..lol so im think there about 26 inchs tall. they weigh in at 54.3 lbs each ( which i think still is a bit heavy ) and my best 60ft so far is a 1.67 also price on what you have in to them would be cool if you know.....mine where freebe's..lol but id like to find a better combo so im tryin to see what the best bang for my buck combo

i would say get a FLT level 5 or get a danny tranny...pm sprayed99 and he will give you some info on there trans or atleast tell you what to look out for if you deside to go with someone else's both have good reps!

my is right around 5400lbs with me in it...i think it was 5380ish very cool hp calc....i wonder if its suppost to be flywheel or rwp...my was 562 hp

are trucks are very close.. what kinda 60s are you gettin? and what wheel tire combo are you using? im runnin some 16s steels with some extrealy short tire like 26inchs..but id like to find something alot lighter. they still weight in at 53.4lbs

really.. you sould post it up.. are camera quit so ive yet to see what it looks like goin down the track with the lil wheels on... should give everyone a laugh..lol but it works the truck was stayin in 3rd gear and i went across the line at about 6100rpms... not to bad for a short tire.. maybe 26inchs tall. might have to get some short DRs now.. what did everyone else run.. i didnt get to see alot..post vids!!!!

well like it says went to the m event i made it to the 3rd round even tho i broke out 2 times... grrrr first round my dial in was 12.4... i ran a 12.400 then i tried going threw the water as recomend from zippy.. was alil unsure being awd.. but my next run was a person best 60ft... rt.... .139 60 1.678 ... woohooo 330 5.042 1/8 7.856 mph 87.14 1000 10.307 1/4 12.378 mph 109.54 next round i really focued on my r/t and i was pretty happy with it... spun alil out of the hole but was wayyy ahead of the other guy.. so i let off at about the 1000... as you can see i droped 5mph .. i wonder what i would have ran if i would have kept my foot in it...grrrrrrrrr damnit so i broke out again even lettin off alot! i wish i could have stayed in it just so see r/t .005....WOOHOO see ya!!..lol 60 1.712..... spun bad worst 60 of the nite atleast during racing 330 5.047 1/8 7.861 mph 87.08 1000 10.308 1/4 12.388 mph 105.00 was slower from lettin off early tryin not to brake out..grrrrr but anyways im pretty happy over all it was my frist time actuly racing normaly i just to test in tunes... im hooked..haha

ITS A STEAL!! i already called the number and the guy seemed alil odd but im just chalkin that up to most limo guys are.. but i asked quiet a bit about it and some off the way questions just to try to throw him.. and he had an answer for everything and was pretty knowlegable about limos and that model.. so hes in the limo buz for sure. he also said that hes shuting down the company is the reason hes selling it and priced them to move and this is the last one to get rid of. he also told me it was sold for 18k and the guy was suppost to fly in today to pick it up . but he had no money yet from him.. so if i offered him something better it was mine.. so i offerend him 19 and he would have to deliver it. and he said no problem and to let me know asap so he could call the other guy to tell him not to get on the plan. now i know its probly just a sales pitch because 1000 more and he has to drive it from florida to michigan? i was suprized he agreed to it... anyways sorry for the rant

for everyone saying theres no gains.. its amazing how many people have them on there trucks. my truck seems to leave the line alil hard... tends to spin all for alil more with the dumps open. which suprizes me alil because you would think it would lean out..but ive yet to run them open at the track untill i get a wide band so i know if i get to lean or not
