  1. The single piston will make a difference. I put them on my truck and could definitely notice them stopping me better. I believe most of the SUVs have the dual rear piston calipers.
  2. I think i just threw up on my screen...oh wait, no that's just the wheels...
  3. The calspeed one sound like they will need to be modified a little. I do not believe OBX will need modification. If you do go with the Calspeed make sure you go with the 1 7/8 instead of the 1 3/4. Its only $50 and will be well worth it, especially if you want to do a cam or F/I later in the future.
  4. OBX long tubes comes with a new "Y" pipe. IMO go long tube or nothing at all.
  5. Lots of boost. I have a 383 on 7psi and I'm making just over 500 to the wheels. Go with a tvs 2300, it has so much more potential than the 1900 and will easily handle the 408 later down the road.
  6. In your climate controls you should try putting blue leds behind the the blue part of the climate control. It will look way better and more blue.
  7. Looks pretty cool. I've been debating on ordering at set for the G8
  8. Two things you can do to rule out having a faulty cluster. 1) Swap it with a buddy that has a full size GM truck or SUV to see if their cluster acts the same in your truck. If the other gauge cluster does not have the same issue in your truck, then you have a faulty gauge cluster. 2) Remove the gauge cluster. With it still plugged in, hold the gauge cluster with your hands on the ends. With the truck started twist the cluster kind of like you are trying to twist it in half. Go back and forth with this and see if you can reproduce the issue you are having. If you can reproduce the issue by twisting it, yo have a faulty gauge cluster. I know you said the gauge cluster was repaired already but I have ran into plenty that have been repair but not fully rebuilt. They might have repaired the current issue with didn't make sure you wouldn't have issues in the future. If you ca
  9. It should have coils if it is a 2wd. Torsion bars are only for AWD or 4wd trucks. It will also have the 14bolt rear end and 4l80e trans.
  10. I have a Mossberg 500. So far it's a great gun, plus it came with 2 barrels. One for home defense and one for hunting. I also have a an Ithaca 12 gauge but it's more for show.
  11. I'm sure these guys can come up with something for you. http://www.emblempros.com/ Also you might want to have it say "Supercharged 370 cu in", that way people don't ask you why you put Nissan badges on your truck lol
  12. You already have a meth kit so your only other option is a phenolic blower spacer. Bigger throttle body and j tube will just help get more boost.
  13. Why don't you use a blower cam since you have a blower
  14. No I didn't! I only had a chance to glance over the good stuff and didn't read it in detail. Either way thats crazy. Those engines love boost. I know they ended up swapping the heads to lower the compression.
  15. How did you come up with your HP #? Stock bottom end should be good to about 600hp but I have seen them break at 400 and have seen them with stand 1000. Truckin just had a TT 5.3l with a stock bottom end pushing 26psi of boost and hit 1300HP. When it failed on the last run the only thing that was wrong was a broken rocker arm.
  16. I had the 2.8 on my old 5.3 and was making only 10psi. I believe the max with the 2.8 on a 6.0 is about 8psi unless you have a phenolic spacer, 102mm throttle body and J-tube. Even then I don't think a 3.0 pulley would make that much boost. Are you sure its a MP112 and not a MP122? What heat range plugs were you using?
  17. Have you looked at the solder connections on the back. They can be very sensitive and break if you use too much heat.
  18. Yes these will allow you to run the larger 13" rotors. Bigger rotors = more stopping power
  19. At least one of ours is running right lol
  20. Also, Just to answer the initial question. It doesn't really matter which motor you use. X27, X25, black, white or whatever. As long as it's not the C5 motors you should be good to go. I spend a little extra and buy american made motors. Haven't had any fail me yet.
  21. So let me get a little more information about what you did. Did you replace all the gauges or just the two gauges? Everything else works now except for the fuel gauge correct? Thank you thank you!
