  1. Could be a stepper motor issue. Do you know anyone with the same type of truck that you can swap gauges with? If there gauges work in your truck then you will need to have the gauge cluster rebuilt. Let me know if you have any other questions. http://www.gmgaugeguy.com/
  2. Go with a large magnaflow. The bigger the casing the quieter it is...usually.
  3. Well this would probably jump the price about $50. So an LED conversion by itself would be about $150 and a gauge rebuild and LED conversion would probably be about $210. We're still working on the final touches.
  4. Just thought I would give you guys a quick preview of what I have been working on. Would like to see if there would be any interest in the color changing LEDs. These are ran off a remote and can change up to 20 different colors. It can also be set to cycle through the colors as shown in the video. Let me know what you think. Sorry the video is sideways.
  5. Requires very little labor. Just need to pull in out and ship it to me for the conversion.
  6. The second pictures look good! I'm glad your boost gauge turned out good too! Needles are personal preference. If you add the blue needles it can be a little too much blue but everyone has their own idea of what looks good to them. I think the orange needles have a good contrast and really stand out so they dont get lost in the gauge cluster. Red needles are also a very nice option with blue LEDs. We do carry red and white needles in stock in case anyone is interested.
  7. Ya we only specialize in just the gauge cluster repairs, LED conversions and customization.
  8. You can just got to superbrightleds.com and buy them. You can put in your make and model and it will tell you pretty much all the replacement bulbs on your vehicle.
  9. Glad your happy with it brother! Let me know if you need anything else! Hopefully the rest of your build goes smoothly.
  10. Call Zippy and talk to him about it. I believe he is finding that the gen 2 x-link with the automatic TB selector switch does not work so well with the LS3 style throttle bodies. I believe he recommends swapping to the LS2 style throttle body.
  11. What lights are you looking to change?
  12. Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad everyone is happy with their gauges! I'm always here to answer questions and help anyone out. Gotta love this site and the people on it!
  13. What throttle body do you have? LS3 (gold blade) or LS2 (silver blade)? How old is your x-link?
  14. No phone number + to good to be true = SCAM!
  15. Sorry I've been up since 4am....you are correct sir. It is Australian.
  16. Holden. That's why the Pontiac is taken off the front. Trust me I get people all the time trying to figure out what kind off car it is.
  17. Well I got my machine polishing kit in from Adam's about a week ago and wanted to work on the G8 to get some of the swirl marks and scratches taken care of. Take about 8 hours start to finish. Let me know what you think. And this is what the car looks like less that 24 hours later......mother nature can suck a d*ck!
  18. I have option number 2 for the tail lights and love them. I would have the third brake light professionally smoked to match the tail lights. I can't seem to find a third brake light to match the tails.
  19. My brother owns one. I'll hand it to him it is quick but not anywhere near the 13's quick. Last time I went to the track it was like dodge ram night or something because there was about 15 new rams out there and plenty of the R/Ts. Not one could get under a 14, hell to be honest I don't think I saw one get under a 15.
